Bringing my first pony fanfic to an end. · 4:31am Sep 21st, 2012
Well, I've got the last chapters typed up, and being reviewed. Looking back over the already posted chapters, there's a lot of editing that needs done, and I'll do it once the story is completed. I've been looking over the suggestions for the foal, and have made a decision on species and name.
I've already begun tossing around the idea of a sequel that will explain some things not revealed in this story, answering a lot of confusion that the comments have brought up. I just can't leave well enough alone, I guess.
As always, ideas are welcome.

wait wait wait.... you're ending it here? so soon? but.. its seriously something you can keep going with, can't you just see the potential brimming in the story? You can EASILY bring out 10 more chapters to this story if you tell the story right, add more problems and drama, heck you could even kinda sorta restart the story and instead of being near birth have her be only about a month or 2 pregnant, and make the Nightmare much more cunning and able to hide from Luna better for a while or stuff like that.. or if you feel you MUST end this story, then you should write a sequel that doesn't just answer the question, but that should show their lives AFTER the foal is born. There is seriously MANY opputunities here hun, don't let it slip past you!!!

I think ending it within three chapters would be a great idea.

Ok you asked for it:
First Off: Lets go with an alicorn foal, The Nightmare wouldn't settle for anything else. And I'd say go with a colt, Spike and Peewee need another bro, it's too much of a girls' club.
Second: Have the Elements heal Applejack during that "shot her to the moon" scene, yeah I'm a sucker for good endings and if Rarity's tail can be grown back by "teh UBER" magic, then healing AJ should be on the table as the tail was much lower on the importance scale. I mean it would have grown back. And everyone else is doing better, so why not AJ? Although you could try to add in some new motivation for her, like wanting to help other ponies with disabilities or something (poor AJ has everything she wants, so less drama for her).
Third: Have the girls all come back to Ponyville, most are easy, but for Dash, just have the Princesses assign her to watch over Twilight and the baby.
Fourth: AND as for the sequel: Raising a foal + dealing with rape and emotional trauma = interesting for Twi and the girls.
