Sorry, everypony, but the third story in the series is delayed. Had to double-up on summer classes to remain on track for graduation, which has still be pushed back to the end of this fall semester.
Did manage to catch up on my reading in the interim and finally got to play Dawn of War II: Retribution.
... combine that with KKat posting "Fallout: Equestria" here on FiMFiction.net (the story that introduced me to the fandom, by the way!) and I'm seriously wanting to try and do something with my Ponyhammer story now. Making it into something at least halfway serious.
Years ago, when I first played a game that had just come out called "Fallout 3" I kept thinking that it would take a couple of regiments if not an entire Astartes company to pacify the Capital Wasteland. Then when I read KKat's story, it just screamed that scenario to me. Hence, I typed up Ponyhammer. But looking back over what I typed up years back, I have to shake my head.
But I want to do something with it. Not a full-blown explanation on what's going on or why things are they way they are, but something just for fun. Any ideas?
