Did you save the files on a word processor of Google Drive?
No.....I was cleaning my computer by deleting old files I didn't think I needed anymore, and....well......

I've had some luck with Recuva when I've made that mistake. It can restore fully deleted files if the physical location on your disk drive hasn't been written over yet.

Google Drive is an online saving device. Basically, a virtual hard drive where you can save your files. You can access with your gmail account. I've been using it for years and it works great for me. Even if my computer breaks or I lose my flash drive, I can at least access my files on google drive. If you have a google account, chances are you also have google drive.
