story hiatus (for real this time) · 7:48pm Nov 13th, 2016
Hey everyone, the title says it all. I know in the past I've said "I'm taking a break" and "I'm taking time off from writing" and then the next day or two there's a chapter but this time I really am. I don't know how long I'll have my story on hiatus but I probably won't be publishing anything under it for a decent amount of time.
Now for the reasoning behind this, as some of you already know, I'm a cook in a very popular restaurant (popular where I live anyway) and that doesn't leave me with a gratuitous amount of time or energy. I usually go in very early in the morning and get out at varying times, mostly mid to late afternoon, so were only talking a few hours after work before I have to call it a night. which as I'm sure is self-evident, is not the really the best system to work with (but its what I'm stuck with). but over the course of the past year I've made it work, mostly through my high level of motivation and drive, which I seemed to have lost recently. so until I can get enough of it back, I'm putting my story on hold.
Lastly, I know I mentioned a sequel in the past, but I'm going to be scrapping that too. its been a good run with this story, but unfortunately there will be no sequel unless I can get back the same level of motivation I had back when I first started. With that being said, Mise will still be free to use in anyone's story during the hiatus and after I end the story, just please contact me beforehand. As well, I will still be active in the PoME group, and open for collaborations if needed.
Anyway, that's all for now, hopefully this won't last too long and I'll be back to writing sometime soon.
That's fine. You take as long of a break as you need. I might just take a long break after my next chapter anyway.
