(I've tagged my story I wrote for last year's commemoration)
We ALL live on borrowed time, not because life is finite: but rather because somebody has died to allow us to live.

People of all creeds, faith and race died across both World Wars along with those afterwards.
It is also one year on since the Paris attack- done by a cornered animal. An animal of hatred and bigotry whom have twisted the words of their faith to justify the lie they have made. NEVER blame those whom are Innocent for the majority- for you will simply become an Extremist yourself.
Anti-Jewish and Anti-Slavic hate speech lead to the death of over 14 million (of which ~6million were Jewish) during the Holocaust.
All I see from my own country (United Kingdom) and that of the USA is an outpouring of hate because people are different.
EVEN here on Fimfiction I have been insulted for opposing Donald Trump and his Hate Speech rhetoric- a fandom that itself faces death threats and violence from others around the world. IDIOCY.

Trump and his supporters say bad things = evil racist bad
Hillary and her supporters do bad things = good compassionate cant do bad things.

If people do bad things, then they have done wrong. Whatever political alignment or faith they claim to follow.
There are good republicans, there are bad republicans.
There are bad democrats, there are good democrats.
There are bad Christians, there are good Christians.
Thre are good Muslims, there are bad Muslims.
The latter half of this was written as a bit of a rant.... mostly caused by a Trump supporter here on Fimfiction simply insulting myself and branding all of Islam as the exact same as Deash. All because I spoke out against Trump's racist rhetoric.
4300582 I'm a graduate of History, and all I see from Trump election is a close parallel between 1920s Italy & 1930s Germany. Where hatred, fear & ignorance towards minorities was used as one method to generate support.
In all honesty, I think only a minority of Trump voters were motivated primarily by Racial policies. The issue is that the surge of racial violence and hate speech that has occurred after his election in the US and that seen after the "Brexit" referendum.
Considering the numbers of Muslim and minorities that fought alongside the British & US forces for both World Wars it is abhorrent to claim that they are all evil. Politics have become too Polarized of late.

So true. One of the many things I hate about politics these days is that you can only discuss them with people who agree with you (aka echo chamber, aka not a good thing if you want a thoughtful discussion), since those who don't will just stop listening to reason (admittedly I'm guilty of this as well, although it's as much I think you're [conservatives] full of shit and you're using the damn argument I've heard a dozen times already, I've poked holes in it a dozen times, and I'm tired of it as much as it is I don't agree with you), and it winds up of two people just yelling at each other
You speak the truth. Your right what you have said to the Trump Supporter you speak of. Sad he bears the name of 'blessed' when most of the words he spoke were cursed.
