Due to his Grandfather's training, he has advanced senses, (can tell if a person is a pony by smelling them at close range), durability, strength, speed, and disillusion to bizarre situations.
Can create fire,electricity, and plasma (if he REALLY tries hard enough) without the use of magic.

Trained under his grandfather, Blizzard Storm and his (grandfather) best friend Napalm Fury, along side his best friend Pyro D. Tech.
The training went from when they could walk until around age 21.
Quit being CEO because he felt like something was missing in his life.
He talked to Pyro about opening in royal guard, and believed this could be his calling.

Quick Bio: For most of his life, Ocean Lure has lived the life as a fisherman's son. Yet he's always had a feeling he's a bit more special in comparison to other ponies. It could be how tight lipped his father is about who his mother is, how he has always had an affinity with manipulating water and liquids, can get along pretty well with sea critters of all kinds, or it could be about why his horn has the ability to transform into a glowing lure like implement that can stretch for a good distance. Who knows? While to serve as a Ranger would be an honor it itself, he hopes that it would provide more opportunities of discovering just what type of creature his mother was and what ultimately became of her.
Not sure if this fits the bill of what you are looking for, but I am open to change and cut things around for this. To be honest, I would prefer a green ranger ranger position for someone (a 'sciency' ranger one, not a 'legendary sixth' type), but I just thought of this guy as I read your blog post. So here you go!

And yes, I am aware Mystic Blue is originally a female position! I would think the uniform would be altered to fit a male one, but I would definitely find it hilarious if it was even made a running joke that he has the position of what should belong to a mermaid.

4284474 Hey, Light Speed Rescue had a 6th Ranger in the American version. It was the Titanium Ranger. He looked badass!
His color is gray but maybe this is the "Green Ranger" you're looking for!
