    I didn’t used to believe in writer’s block as such. I always thought the phenomenon was a manifestation of something else in a person’s life. I also thought the cure for it was just to sit down and write any garbage you can. Editing should never mix with drafting, and if you can get yourself to stop editing, you’ll achieve more and better drafting—which can then be edited.

    2020 got weird. My 2021 started with an honest effort to get back to normal. But after I started getting treated for depression, I began to see more and more ways to improve things in my daily and family life that hadn't fit together very well in years. Ciderfest day 1 recap · 5:50am Oct 29th, 2016

Apologies for the short format, but the hotel wifi is bad and all I've got is my phone and its limited data plan. Special thanks goes out to the guy (whose name I hope to get tomorrow) who let me use his hotspot so I could finish tweaking my panel slides for tomorrow/later today. :ajsleepy:

With that out of the way: Day 1 of Ciderfest was awesome. I got to meet John DeLancie, check out some panels, and learn to play the MLP CCG. The latter had been one of my goals for Whiny City, and it was good to finally get to do that!

I also got to meet and talk to some cool people in the community. I need to go track people down on FimFiction, but some of the highlights were conversations (and/or gaming) with Kwirkyj, Pikavee, RadicalWanderer, Railershy, ShadowHaze, and Bug Buzz.

The morning will be rough. I didn't have time tonight to finish my costume for tomorrow, so that will have to be done over an awesome breakfast of whatever the heck I have on-hand in my room. Actually I still have yet to eat a decent meal since getting here. :derpyderp1:

Oh well. Who has time for food or sleep when there is PONY to be CON'd!!! :pinkiecrazy:
