Hello everyone!
Still working on the final chapter. While the penultimate chapter--chapter 9--is finished and has been since before I posted chapter 1, I'm delaying the next chapter to make sure that the transition from 9 to 10 is as smooth as possible.
Also, man, wasn't chapter 8 a kicker? I quite enjoyed writing it. The last few paragraphs I'm particularly proud of. Fun fact: Originally, I was going to have Twilight's diary entry read like a traditional diary page. However, I found it too passive. So I decided that it'd be best to have Sunset read the entry out loud. I think it improved the quality of the chapter.
How will it all end? I wonder...
Oh! Oh! Let me guess! Twilight turns out to be alive and they live happily ever after :D

Final line of the story: And then Sunset woke up from a completely horrible dream where Twilight died only to find that Twilight was very much alive and fine and perfectly happy with her. The end.
In all seriousness though. I swear I'm going to write some nice fics involving Sunset and Twilight where neither dies and they're both happy together.
