Why I Don't Write Here Anymore

I suppose it's been on my mind for a long time, but it never really occurred to me until recently. And because a few of you have been waiting for some projects I promised I'd finished, you deserve to know, as well.

    This exists . . .

This is a thing that exists. This was made with effort, and money.

And Hasbro actually put their name on this.

    . . .

    . . .

    . . .

I'm gonna step away from this one.

My good friend needs some support

You all probably know HudsonHawk, especially if you know me. Even though I've never met the man in person, he's my best friend on this site, on the internet, and probably ever.

    Embarking on a new venture

Recently I discovered a site for content creators called Daisie. It allows people to post their work and ask for collaborators, and it was created by actress Maisie Williams, whom many of you might know as Arya Stark from Game of Thrones.

More bits on "Steven Universe" · 3:47am Oct 16th, 2016

Fast as lightning, sharp as a sword

So I recently finished Season 1, and am working on Season 2. I'm skipping the Uncle Grandpa crossover. Not interested.

Watermelon Stevens. Dat sum fukked up shet, bruh.

Lion, you sentimental bastard, you! :fluttercry:

"Warp Tour" was the only episode I genuinely disliked. Steven says he saw something, and Pearl refuses to believe him. She only seemed interested in proving she was right, not in making sure something was up. And when it turned out Steven was right, she didn't even apologize. :ajbemused:

I admit it. I had Amethyst pegged as a Rainbow Dash clone. And I was largely right: obnoxious, inconsiderate practical joker with no social tact. But "On the Run" gave her more depth in one episode than Rainbow Dash ever got in SIX WHOLE SEASONS of "My Little Pony". I still don't like Amethyst, but at least I understand her. In fact, I understand her a lot. Take some notes, Hasbro!

Surprisingly, Lars, Renaldo, and even Mayor Dewey get some depth, too. So far, no character I've seen hasn't been given some layers.

Except Peridot, but I'm sure that will change the more I see.

Alexandrite. Holy shit. :rainbowderp:

Also, is it wrong to think Stevonnie is kinda hot?

AAAAAGH!! Never mind! Dirty mind! Dirty, dirty dirty!! :raritycry:

"The Test" really subverted my expectations. Instead of go off on the Gems for making him think they were taking him seriously when they secretly just wanted to boost his confidence, he secretly made them think it worked. And it works! Very well done.

And again: Steven + Connie OTP!!

Secondary OTP: Greg and Rose! :pinkiehappy:

Dewey has the hots for Pearl? Eh, I don't blame him. Not gonna lie, Pearl's kinda cute. :twilightblush:

So, Garnet was a Fusion the whole time? That explains a lot, actually. :applejackunsure:

Ruby and Sapphire are . . . how do the young kids put it? Oh yeah: "totes adorbs".

Jasper was a great villain. Legitimately scary and unrepentant. Motivations are a bit hazy, but it was still an exciting conclusion.

NOOOOOOOOOOO, LAPIS-CHAN!!!! COME BAAAAAAAAACK!!! :pinkiesad2::fluttercry::raritycry:

And on the plus side, Steven is un-grounded from TV! :yay:

Can't wait to see more!

Stay quick, stay sharp, and thanks for reading!

I'm a big fan of the show as well. It essentially copies Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, and Dragon GT in a lot of ways. Even with the fusions. Even Rebecca Sugar (the show's creator) admitted to that. But you know what? I'm not even mad.

I like to think of it as an homage to the Dragon Ball series. And in some ways it surpasses Dragon Ball (especially with the character relationships).

There is just a certain charm about the show.

I accept it for what it is; a Dragon Ball fan fiction turned into its own universe (something else Rebecca admitted to). And I think it does well both as an homage to Dragon Ball and it's own unique story.

The UG crossover was funny, even though UG sucks, Amethyst is still best gem, and I have not disliked an episode yet. None that I recall anyway.

4257746 I also thought the Uncle Grandpa crossover was really good. It had me rolling the whole time.

The UG crossover, though noncanon does contain a pretty important plot element regarding stevens powers though. Its worth checking out just for that imo. Plus the gems wanting to kill the SOB is worth every second.

Also how do you do that Read More thing in your blog post?

You will love the second season.

if you think its good so far, wait until later when you find out Rose_______________________________________
