I feel kind of bad for the few dislikes I've got, which aren't completely undeserved. I know I put out a badly edited first chapter, please keep in mind I haven't had to write a paragraph since High School. Learning about Edgar Allen Poe was way more complicated than Applied Physics to me. I'm sure many of you pony nerds out there can relate! 
All I can do is hope they give it another chance, and that I shouldn't read too much into it. I kind of hope they'll feel a little stupid if I get in the 1k range on likes, and I myself will be pretty freak'n thrilled. But then I know there are some sad people out there that'll dislike something for various petty reasons. So C'est la vie.
I want to thank those who've decided to follow me, I thought about waiting a week before writing this. But I know I'll forget by then, just like the ideas I have for the story I'm writing. I feel it's better to get those down first then polish it up later.
I don't know how people do the whole proofreader/editor thing. So far I'm just going to do my best unless someone thinks they can help out, just let me know what I gotta do.
