    New Generation movie!!!

Seriously If you need a spoiler warning with a title like that, you deserved to be jinxed.

So once I had enough strength to not watch this thing a third time, I decided to share my thoughts here.

And wow, there's so much to love about the new movie, I'm not sure how to break it all down! So this will be a bit scatterbrained.

    Things are not good.

Just wanted to give a heads up to anyone following me, and to those who are eagerly awaiting chapter updates. I apologize for the delay. I assure you the next chapter has been 85% complete since the last update. But things are so bad, i can't find the time, much less the motivation to write.

I assure you, I do mean to finish what I started.

Added more to the Dinner scene in Hunter's Prayer

Woke up this morning thinking about my past chapters. Mentally going over scenes in my head and thinking of ways on how to improve them (you know, anything to distract myself from getting another chapter out) Not sure how long its gonna take me for this next one. But definitely less than a month or at the very least, a week.

    I hadn't forgotten about ya.

I want to apologize for how long it's taken me to release the next couple chapters of Jewel of the Everfree.

Life got pretty hectic for awhile. A family member got married and I played a big role in the ceremony, and also I'm still on the job hunt.

I've got good news, and bad news.

Good news is: I'm making great headway with the next chapter of the story.

Welp, time to find a new job.

For the last few months I've been taking it easy and focusing on Jewel of the Everfree. I've been fired from my casino job back in June, which is fine because I was getting pretty sick of that place after 5 years of working there. I kept not showing up to work, kept leaving way earlier than I was supposed to; and as they say "Not showing up to work, is the slow burn to quitting"

Welp, time to find a new job. · 7:02am Sep 5th, 2018

I've never felt both so relieved and so empty. The lack of money coming in has forced me to change my spending habits which have gotten out of hand. No one should be spending more than $500 on take out or eating out in general.

Been working out to fill the time and to get swol, but progress has been virtually null.

I still have enough runway to keep me afloat till January next year at the very least. But every month I see a thousand or so dollars lower in my bank account just dwindling down. I don't like going below a certain amount, and right now I need to find me something to help start putting more money away.

Maybe I'll finally find one of those 'Full-time' jobs I keep hearing about. Never seen one though, so wish me luck. Luckily there's several warehouses looking for certified and experienced forklift operators even a brand new steel-mill looking for a crane operator. Which I can't believe their taking people with a minimum GED/High school diploma.

I certainly don't want to go into food/customer service. I've worked some variant of that business since I was 16, starting with Fast Food. So after 12 years of it, I think I've earned the right to say I've put my time in; or 'Paid my dues'.

Well crane operator should be a decent work Whit enough demand

They tend to accept less classical education for such things as a crane operator because college tends to teach someone crap-all about that kind of position. Think it through and you'll find it's rather sensible.

Try industrial food processing under the ConAgra brand. The factory I work in starts out at $16 min and $20 max at the lowest tier of floor operater with full insurance, pension and 401k retirement plans (no strenuous physical labor required). Plus, vacation is based off of the gross income of the previous year, so you can eventually make more money per week by taking time off than working lol attendance is big though Xb

What surprises me most about the crane operator is the fact that's the highest requirement they're asking for. No previous experience or anything of that sort. I'm guessing maybe whomever put the position up might've forgotten a few details, but I'm gonna keep my eye on it. I just want something that gets me away from the public.

Not to be discouraging, but a crane certification is arguably the most difficult equipment license to attain. Running the equipment itself isn't the hard part, it's the sheer amount of math involved, along with being a master rigger. You'll need to be able to decide whether or not you can pick a load taking into account it's weight, boom angle, wind, and various other variables, based on what it says in the load chart that goes with the crane. The crane might be rated for say, 80 tons, but with the boom extended all the way out, it'll only be able to pick say, 2 to 3 tons tops without tipping over. You'll also need to get a class A driver's license, and get licenced in other load bearing equipment like a telehandler/forklift. Your best bet would be to find your local equipment operator's union and talk to them.

Y'know... The McDonalds offers about 3,90€ (~8$) an hour in my country...

I recently put paid to my own customer service style job and moved to a job stocking shelves, its not glorious or anything but theyre paying me more for it

$8 would be the bare minimum I'd need to keep up with my living expenses, assuming that comes with a Full time 40 hour per week. I'd rather get somewhere in the teens so I can buy a house (maybe). I've been living in the same apartment for 7+ years now, but you just can't beat the low rent along with all the services that come with it like Unlimited water, trash, post, ect. Only other thing I have to pay for is Electric and Internet. It's a bit of a pain having management come in for pest control every other month, but what can ya do...

The problem I find with being a stocker, is I can never get enough hours. It's always part-time 16-24 hours a week. I could barely make ends meet. I tried to get a second job, but I can never seem to pass those tests they have you take during the application.

Fair enough, to be honest I don't know how long I will stay with this, I wouldve preferred a shot at the banking field

You know you could just become a writer? Maybe get a Patreon and see how many join up.

I was actually thinking about rattling the tip jar the chapter before Jewel of the Everfree is done. Might have to do it a bit sooner if the worst happens and I can't find anything better than $8/hr part-time.
