Just an All There In The Manual Entry for Marionettes.
SPOILERS for the story if you haven't read it yet!
As you may have noticed, Longhorn and company are the prototype G5 Marionettes, but no prototypes were mentioned for any OTHER Generation. The reason for this is simple:
G1T00 was still Trixie's AI, it was simply a proof of concept BODY used for proving the Marionette concept would work. After that was done, a few bugs were worked out of the final version and Trixie's AI was put into it. This is because the process for creating a Marionette AI was a NEW technology at the time, and it took a long time to make one, so to create an AI JUST to serve as a proof of concept test bed for the project was inefficent. Ironically, this ALSO means the Marionettes were seen as much less expendable at the time.
Trixie has no interest in the memories of the prototype like she did Trixie 1.0 because...well, there really aren't any memories TO reclaim: just answering questions, doing some tests, and proving she could pass for a pony. So unlike Trixie 1.0, that version of her has nothing Trixie would have reason to want.
G2T00 was also Ace and G3T00 was Dumbbell for the exact same reasons.
G4's prototype was an Elite Agent series Marionette who's current where abouts are unknown and may have been destroyed.
Longhorn and company only REMAINED G5T00 because they went utterly rogue and it was decided to put them in containment and make G5T01 something more docile and easier to use.
Just something I had nowhere to put in the actual story and decided to put out there.
