It's actually very complete! Just needs art for it. Now, I had received word from paper pony around March that he was eager to participate again. I showed him the chapter, and he read it. He was pleased and enthusiastic!
My hands are freezing, as I just came in from the chilly outside, having watched some fireworks. 
Anyhow,, here's a sketch of a grimy and weary Rosy from our guest artist.

By the way, chapter 11, as of this moment, is almost 12,000 words long. I'm pre-reading it with a friend of mine, and I hope to hand it over to the editor in about a week.

Well, MC stated that he doesn't like to be a filly, he dislakes his girly appearance. Personally, I won't fret so much about it after a while. Of course, I will be startled at first, but sonner than later i won't be complaining about it. What will worry me the most will be the "not being able to be a human again" thing and the "memories that are not completely mine" issue. Just a matter of priorities.
Like I was saying, he seems worried about his masculinity, so he doesn't want to be cute. Of course, i'm not saying that colts can't be cute, but fillies usually are cuter than them.
Now that's 'dorable.
I like the shading on this one, it seems a little more sophisticated.

362476 362282 Eeyup. Cuteness is often associated with femininity, even though that's not always the case, so it's likely that Rosy Stripes has the same idea.
For me, the loss of manhood would probably take me a few days to get over completely, but I don't think it'd affect me nearly as badly as it affected Rosy. Although I'd much rather be a mare than a human female... no offense to human females, just my preference.

Since the breaking of his illusion, his acceptance of his body has been sent back to square one. Surely, he's recovering gradually, but he hasn't yet reached the stage where he's fine. Presently, he harbors a negative attitude toward his mare form, and that disposition is obviously disadvantageous. Were he to have a neutral or positive stance, maybe even bravely dig up that side of him that liked being cute, then I'm quite certain he'd fare much better.

Still, there's two issues that he has to surmount when it comes to his body. One is that he has to be okay with being a female, and the second is that his humanity has to agree with his equinity. The former might be a slight easier; all he has to do is pretty much challenge his masculine self-image, which nevertheless is easier said than done. The latter might be tougher though. Even if he was willing to play the part of a pony, his subconsciousness might've been affected more severely than his consciousness, therefore he's not as quick to conform to his equine physiology as he was during the first six chapters; it's not a finite and easily terminable dream he is in. He has hope for the better, but he doesn't really know if it's truly possible to get back to his true form. That imbues him with fear he's not fully cognizant of. Also, as strange as it sounds, being a female is more relatable on a subconscious level than being a pony, while the opposite is true on the conscious side.
Or . . . then I just confused myself and have no idea what I'm talking abut
So, he's got an ultimate goal, which is placing his mind back to its rightful body, and he hopes he can achieve that by investigatng his (Rosy)'s home. In the meantime, he has to carry the burden of the body he possesses and endure whatever effects it has on him, not to mention he's decided to withhold his true identity under the fear of being disbelieved with adverse consequences. It's a lot to take.
Still, it's possible he can make the best out of a bad situation. Who knows, maybe he'll try to look cute again? Oh, speaking of cute things... I have a little thing to show at the end of this post

Yeah, I can think of a few reasons why I agree with you on why female pony > female human, but . . . didn't Rosy say something about that already? He supposed that to have the parts on the inside was more practical when one's a pony. Does that mean he was then okay with the remaining physical changes? Perhaps.
Anyhow, as you said, it might take a few days to be okay with the loss, and personally, I don't disagree with you. As for Rosy, he's quite smart, so chances are he'll eventually calm down to rationalize his situation.

Yes, it's a very nice picture (Rosy's opinion notwithstanding). Say, you can edit if you got experience at it. I just wont accept anyone who shows eagerness. Editing's a very tough task, perhaps tougher than writing a fic.
