Well I'm still here, and though he's been quiet lately Thorax still posts every so often so that's at least two more.
Still here, somehow.
For all replies; chances are I won't be writing more on this account - it's been actual years, and my writing has improved to the point where continuing stories from where I left off and, often, the way I left off, would end up reading like total shit. There's a lot of stuff I wrote on-the-fly and during a time where my mental health was not the greatest, and it reflects badly in my work. That being said, I'm feeling better now - so keep an eye out for a certain fic coming back from the dead on a new account!

I'll be honest, it's surprising to myself! Without getting too personal, I left for a reason that tainted my time in the fandom for me, and... I don't know, it felt like it would be cathartic to come back and clean up all of these loose ends.

4213439 I know the Twilicorn episode put a lot of people off, but trust me when I say it only gets better. Season 5 and 6 are, in my opinion, the best seasons yet. Even season 4 was really good. I recommend watching them.

I wrote stuff I don't really care for, and as I've posted before, my unfinished stories list (published and not) is... extensive. I'm not a fan of the clutter, but I also don't want to erase all of that and replace it.
It's been a few years now, and after the break from the fandom, I really do want a clean start. There are memories with this username and these stories that I'd like, quite honestly, to forget. Those that like my stories now will like them again later; my follower count and story responses will be based more on the story than on remembering me.
I'm not the person I was back in 2011, when I signed up. Trying to connect that part of me with who I am now isn't why I'm writing again - I'm writing for me, so that I can take back the joy I used to get from it. I'm not writing for the same people, or in the same way, that I was then.
And seeing this username reminds me of the fact that Thorax pursued a sexual relationship with me when he was an adult and I was a minor and quite frankly I would really like to have a username and account that has not ever been associated with him.

Will you at least announce here your new account or will it be a secret or such? Dont know about other old timers but like you i wasnt really keeping up with the fandom or the show for the last 2 years (like mentioned just recently started watching s4 xD )so im not too concentrated on finding new stories from new authors when i have 2865 unread chapters to read(and 900 stories in the read later pile i sitll need to sort through).

Don't worry too much, it wasn't made public. I was already pretty distant from the fandom and my enjoyment in writing at that point, so leaving quietly seemed the best option. I didn't realize how fucked up it was until later, and by then it felt like it was better to just wait until I was more comfortable coming back. I don't plan to make a stir about it, but it's not something I want totally under wraps, either.
