Extremely pointless blog, but whatever · 10:26pm Sep 13th, 2012

Soooo...I would like to just inform a few people about the English and Japanese language.
I don't really know why, but right now I really want to put up something to state the following fact: "THIS IS NOT HOW YOU SAY THIS."
I am terribly sorry to say that I am a bad case of this so-called 'grammar nazi' person, and I also would decree that I enjoy this.
People, so you would stop making mistakes, here is a few little pointers for you that seems so pointless but which aggravates me beyond reason!
(Ye who hast other things to spendest time on, please ignore Risanderu no Tenko having a Language Class)

the 'Your' failure
Quite frankly I find these all over the Internet, regardless of country, but ESPECIALLY from Norway! And you know what? It was cute in the start, but it is growing intensively nauseating at this rate. You disappoint, peers.
If you refer to a person's possession , you use the term "your". If you refer to a person's state, there exists a portmanteau of "you" and 'are' which makes the term "you're".
This sentence is not correct: "You're girlfriend is cute."
What you are saying is "You are girlfriend is cute."
The CORRECT way to type that sentence is "Your girlfriend is cute."
It isn't that hard, people!

Momento
I don't care if he's the most excellent gamer I have seen, I WANT him to begin to pay attention to just what the heck he's reading. Come on! It is clearly written "M-E-M-E-N-T-O". Not "MOMENTO", It is "MEMENTO"!
Pronounced "Mehmento".
Felix, you have read this word ever since your very first Playthrough of Amnesia. How can you still not know how to spell or say it?
...to clarify, I still love to watch you. Also for clarification, A "memento" is something you leave to remind others or yourself about something. "Momentum" is something entirely different. :facehoof:

Rape/Rap/Wrap
When you rap you sing a song in a genre that uses a basic background instrumental while you "talk" in a melodious way.
When you wrap something you put something around something.
Example: Wrapping a present. Wrap your arms around me.
When you rape someone, you illegally and forcefully mate with a person without his or her consent.
(STUPID.PEOPLE.)

"Where is the different?"
Stop. Stop right there,:facehoof:
First off, a difference is what something different is.
You have a difference when something is not the same as another thing.
E.g: "The difference between a cat and a dog."
You refer to something as different when you do not compare the differences but instead state the fact that it is different.
E.g "There's something different with this man..."
..and secondly, you could simply have said "What do you find different?"
...I'm not perfect either. Still, GOSH DAMN IT PEOPLE!

Historical/ Hysterical.
Historical refers to something that has happened in history.
Hysterical on the other hand can refer to either the state of inability to coherent thought or something so ludicrous or amusing it simply cannot avoid being funny.

And as of yet, at last:
Plural translation
People, Japanese does NOT have a plural form in the actual word. You simply use the same word, REGARDLESS of the amount of the said item, creature or being or whatever you are reffering to. That means:
No "MAMONOS". Only "MAMONO"
So when you would say "A monster, two monsters", you will instead say " A monster, two monster."
REGARDLESS of whether you are English or not, do PURISU use the correct terms for their respective cultures!

*huff puff*
I am done. If you did read this, then HURRAY! :pinkiehappy:
You learned something new, most likely!
If I, during this blog, possibly made any mistakes myself, I am too active during both times of the day, so blame that.
