Hey, dear readers! First I want to apologize for the tediously slow progress I've been making. Committing to "publishing on Tuesdays" was both the best and the worst thing I've done on FimFiction. It's good in that I have something to shoot for, but it's bad in that if I miss a Tuesday, the nearest goal is a full week away. The next chapter is coming, I promise; it's in the later stages of writing, and it needs a couple quick read-throughs for editing/proofing, then it should be ready to publish. I'd say two days at the very most.
That said, this particular chapter has a more legit reason for running late than some of the others, which just got pushed off to "the next Tuesday." That reason is "The Times, They Are A'Changeling." The lore presented in this episode conflicted with some of the lore I was going to add in for Chapter 6, and I had to check and re-check to make sure they matched. As such, Chapter 5 is due for a slight edit which will be done the same day Chapter 6 goes up. Tentatively, I will add one more chapter after the one I'm working on right now to (finally) complete "History Lesson."
So there you have it. You know my plans for History Lesson, so now I'm accountable. Hopefully, that means I'll actually get them done for you in a timely manner.
