But seriously, I do rather hope we see the Apple parents... and yet, at the same time, I don't. It'd lead to another massive headcanon massacre, but I still want to see them. I find myself deeply conflicted here.

How did they get sick from the muffins anyway? You don't get sick like that if you take one bite, realize something's wrong, and spit it out. They'd have to have eaten the whole thing, convincing themselves that even though it tastes like lemon juice, potato chips, and woms, it's totally fine to eat.
Holy crap! Knowing the show it's going to be something humorous like a gallon of hot-sauce spilling into one of the Apple Cider barrels.
But the implications can be really dark..... Oh sweet Christ!

4181874 I actually made muffins following that recipe, (don't worry, I used gummy worms) for April Fools this year.... even took a bite myself.... my GOSH they were terrible. You don't realize just how sour something with 1 cup of lemon juice and sour candy is going to be... well let me tell you, it was SOUR. Even so, I'm the only one who managed to swallow a bite, and I'm the one with a sensitive stomach

But who went ahead and felt threatened or offended by Hot Sauce in a Cider Barrel? Two dislikes for that? I mean one sip and you are going to be too busy searching for water or drinking from the dang water pump, to consider to keep drinking the stuff and suffer the least than savory side effects of Mexican Spice.
Really, it's not like MLP hasn't done the Hot-Sauce gag before. Does anyone remember when Twilight drank some of the stuff during the party on The Elements of Harmony Part 1 or the time Pinky tasted actual Rainbow Juice? Anyone?
