    Ten Years of Doctor Perseus

Today marks the tenth anniversary of me creating my account here on FIMFiction. It feels incredibly surreal to type that out. Sometimes it almost feels like yesterday when I was a bright-eyed Brony entering the world of MLP fanfiction for the first time. And sometimes it feels like another lifetime ago.

10 Years After My First Fanfic/My Thoughts on Recent MLP & Doctor Who Content

Hello, everybody! It has certainly been a minute since my last blog post. Like I have said in the past, I am not on here as often as I used to be but I certainly try my best to check on my account whenever I can. In all honesty, I was planning on waiting to write out a blog like this until the tenth anniversary of my FIMFiction account. While I still plan on doing that, I was inspired to write

The 10th Anniversary of Friendship is Magic's Premiere

I know I'm not as active here as I used to be but I felt that I had to at least make a little comment here about Friendship is Magic officially beginning its journey into ten-year status. I can't believe it's been ten years since Friendship is Magic started. Heck, I can't believe it's already been a year since the series ended. Does make me wish that we could have gotten a tenth season in order

What Could Have Been: Doctor Whooves Seasons 3&4

Told ya the wait wouldn't be long. Anyway, here I am to FINALLY close the book on Doctor Whooves once and for all by laying out the rest of what I had planned out for Doctor Whooves. Unlike with Season 2, I'm just going to keep my plans for Seasons 3 and 4 in one blog as I hadn't planned everything out in as much detail as I did the arcs of Season 2. But, still, there is plenty of content to

What Could Have Been: Doctor Whooves Season 2, Arc 3

Yeah...sorry for the long wait on this one. I really have no excuse for taking this long to get around to finally uploading the rest of my plans for what I originally had in store for my Doctor Whooves fanfic series. But I'm here now, for those of you who are still interested in learning about the future I originally had planned for a series I ended well over two years ago. Better being SUPER

Doctor Perseus Reviews: MLP S6E17 "Dungeons and Discords" *SPOILERS* · 11:43pm Aug 27th, 2016

This was definitely an episode that I was looking forward to. I was in need of a good Discord episode since his last outing, What About Discord, didn't really impress me. Thankfully, this episode more than made up for that. So, yeah, I really liked this one.

Discord, Spike, and Big Mac were certainly an odd pair of characters to team up. But it all worked out splendidly. As always, Discord was as enjoyable and chaotic as ever. His interactions with everypony, especially now that they're all on mostly good terms, are always a joy. It was nice seeing him form a friendship with Spike and Big Mac by the end of the episode. I like to imagine that Discord will now become a regular member of "guys night" (along with Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie :rainbowlaugh:). Spike and Big Mac were also a lot of fun as well. It was nice to get a look at the bromance they have that's been teased in previous episodes. And while she wasn't in a lot of the episode, I very much enjoyed Fluttershy as well. Her friendship with Discord has truly blossomed into an adorable back-and-forth. Discord and Fluttershy play off each other so well that I'd really like to get another episode with just the two of them.

Being a Discord episode, it was loaded with crazy imagery and fun references. Spike's Gandalf-esque persona, Big Mac's Dragonborn-esque persona, and Discord's Legolas-esque persona are of course easy references to point out. Discord's nickname for Celestia, "KK", is also just adorable. It only makes me long for a Celestia-centered episode that much more. The animation for the card game brought to life was also a lot of fun.

Overall, there's not too much for me to talk about in relation to this episode but I'm fine with that. It didn't have the heart and amazing world and character building of last week's episode; but it was still an incredibly fun episode with some nice moments for Discord, Spike, Big Mac, and Fluttershy. And, as always, I really hope that we see Discord again.

So what did the rest of you think of Dungeons and Discords? Do you agree with my thoughts? Disagree with them?

I beg to differ. :raritywink:

I also very much enjoyed this episode. I did not see Discord, Spike, and Big Mac an odd group of characters to bring together though. They were bringing together the most prominent male characters on the show. I go more into detail in own review.
