    Ten Years of Doctor Perseus

Today marks the tenth anniversary of me creating my account here on FIMFiction. It feels incredibly surreal to type that out. Sometimes it almost feels like yesterday when I was a bright-eyed Brony entering the world of MLP fanfiction for the first time. And sometimes it feels like another lifetime ago.

10 Years After My First Fanfic/My Thoughts on Recent MLP & Doctor Who Content

Hello, everybody! It has certainly been a minute since my last blog post. Like I have said in the past, I am not on here as often as I used to be but I certainly try my best to check on my account whenever I can. In all honesty, I was planning on waiting to write out a blog like this until the tenth anniversary of my FIMFiction account. While I still plan on doing that, I was inspired to write

The 10th Anniversary of Friendship is Magic's Premiere

I know I'm not as active here as I used to be but I felt that I had to at least make a little comment here about Friendship is Magic officially beginning its journey into ten-year status. I can't believe it's been ten years since Friendship is Magic started. Heck, I can't believe it's already been a year since the series ended. Does make me wish that we could have gotten a tenth season in order

What Could Have Been: Doctor Whooves Seasons 3&4

Told ya the wait wouldn't be long. Anyway, here I am to FINALLY close the book on Doctor Whooves once and for all by laying out the rest of what I had planned out for Doctor Whooves. Unlike with Season 2, I'm just going to keep my plans for Seasons 3 and 4 in one blog as I hadn't planned everything out in as much detail as I did the arcs of Season 2. But, still, there is plenty of content to

What Could Have Been: Doctor Whooves Season 2, Arc 3

Yeah...sorry for the long wait on this one. I really have no excuse for taking this long to get around to finally uploading the rest of my plans for what I originally had in store for my Doctor Whooves fanfic series. What Could Have Been: Doctor Whooves Season 2, Arc 3 · 3:29am Dec 27th, 2019

Yeah...sorry for the long wait on this one. I really have no excuse for taking this long to get around to finally uploading the rest of my plans for what I originally had in store for my Doctor Whooves fanfic series. But I'm here now, for those of you who are still interested in learning about the future I originally had planned for a series I ended well over two years ago. Better being SUPER late than never, I guess. Anyway, let's not waste anymore time and jump right into the third arc of Season 2. Though, forewarning, it's been a while since I last thought about this so if I forget minor things or am not as descriptive as my previous blogs, I apologize. I hope what thoughts I end up splurging out for all of you will end up being at least somewhat entertaining.

The overall third arc would heavily focus on crossovers with an over-arching story that builds from the events of the finale of the previous arc.

S2E23: Ponyville of London:

This episode would start immediately after the following one. The Doctor, Derpy, Spike, Jenny, and Discord awaken to find Ponyville seemingly still intact. However they notice that they can no longer see Canterlot or other parts of Equestria in the distance. Upon further investigation, they realize that all of Ponyville is now just a floating landmass. On top of that, it's now floating above London. News of the arrival of Ponyville instantly spreads across London and is noticed by several allies of the Doctor including Donna Noble, Mickey Smith, Martha Jones, Jack Harkness, and Sarah Jane Smith. UNIT also quickly arrives on Ponyville. The Doctor greets them and proves his identity with the TARDIS. It's here where the Doctor would meet Kate Stewart. Over the course of the episode, the other characters would converge and a new threat would appear when the Doctor realizes that Ponyville is set to fall onto London thanks to a timed release spell. Discord would attempt to deactivate it to no effect, as the spell is seemingly beyond even the control of chaos magic. Working together, the Doctor and the others would eventually locate the source of the spell, a mysterious orb which fills the Doctor with haunting visions of the future. He and the others would destroy it and Discord would be able to gain full control over Ponyville with his chaos magic in order to keep the town from falling down onto London. In finding out what to do next, Kate alerts the Doctor of a mysterious message sent to UNIT. The Doctor recognizes the message as coming from the Writer, Edgar Roger Stevens, who tells him to follow the dimensional coordinates he sent in order to save Ponyville and find the missing Mane 6. Discord remains with Ponyville in order to keep the town protected and Jenny remains in order to help UNIT keep the peace between London and Ponyville. The Doctor then sets off with Derpy and Spike.

S2E24: Edgar's World:
This episode would start with the Doctor in the TARDIS with Derpy and Spike. He is still haunted by the visions the mysterious orb showed him and his thoughts are jumping back and forth between the origins of the orb, finding his friends, Matilda's identity, and everything else that has transpired. Derpy tries to console the Doctor but he assures her and Spike that he's alright. The trio would then arrive in Edgar's World, the universe created as a result of Edgar's battle with the Animator in the season premiere. Here, the Doctor would reunite with the copies of Rocket, Groot, Killian "Hook" Jones, and Jack Harkness, who have all lived in this world as Edgar's friends and advisers. The Doctor, Derpy, and Spike are led to Edgar who tells them that he knows about their situation and that he has the locations of where to find the missing Mane 6. Their discussion is interrupted by another attack by the Animator, which is a regular routine in Edgar's reality. The Doctor, Derpy, and Spike team up with Edgar and the others to stop the Animator. Following the coming battle, the Animator is finally defeated. Edgar uses his abilities within his world to turn the weakened Animator back into a child and sends him away to a reality to live out a new life in peace. After this, the Doctor receives the coordinates of his friends and sets off once again in the TARDIS with Derpy and Spike. In the wake of their time in Edgar's universe, the Doctor decides to open up to Derpy about his frustrations and worries. Derpy comforts the Doctor and says that she believes in him. The Doctor ponders what he would ever do without Derpy.

S2E25: Angels and Gargoyles:
This episode would start with the Doctor, Derpy, and Spike following Edgar's coordinates and arriving in the world of Gargoyles. During this episode, the trio would join forces with Goliath, Elisa Maza, Brooklyn, Broadway, Lexington, Angelica, Hudson, and Bronx as Manhattan is invaded by Weeping Angels. Xanatos and Demona would also make appearances. With the invasion defeated, Xanatos would use his connections to the Illuminati to release the recently discovered and comatose Rainbow Dash to the Doctor. The Doctor, Derpy, and Spike would then depart with Rainbow Dash and bid farewell to their new friends.

S2E26: The Day Beach City Stood Still:
This episode would start with the Doctor monitoring the comatose Rainbow Dash, hoping to find a way to wake her up. In the meantime, the TARDIS arrives in the world of Steven Universe. The Doctor, Derpy, and Spike realize that the town of Beach City seems mysteriously frozen in time. However, the only beings that aren't frozen are Steven Universe, Garnet, Pearl, and Amethyst. The trio teams up with the Crystal Gems in order to solve the mystery of what's happening. They would soon learn that the event has been triggered by an alternate future version of Steven who is super powered and on the brink of death. Following the destruction of his world, he was brought to this version of Beach City to relive happier times. With help from the Doctor and Steven, this future Steven is finally granted peace. He passes away and the world returns to normal. The Doctor finds a comatose Pinkie Pie in Amethyst's gem room and takes her back onto the TARDIS. The Doctor bids farewell to the Crystal Gems but, before he leaves, Garnet uses her future vision and gives the Doctor a warning about keeping his friends safe, putting emphasis on Derpy.

S2E27: Fowl:
This episode would start with the TARDIS arriving in the world of Artemi Fowl outside the Fowl Estate. I actually hadn't created much of a plot for this one outside of the core crossover concept. The Doctor, Derpy, and Spike would meet the likes of Artemis Fowl, Holly Short, Domovoi Butler, Juliet Butler, and Mulch Diggums and team up with them in order to face a fairy-related crises. Following this, the Doctor would find a comatose Applejack, bid farewell to new friends, and continue his quest to find the remaining half of the Mane 6.

S2E28: The Foal Who Lived:
The episode would start with the TARDIS arriving in the world of Harry Potter. The Doctor, Derpy, and Spike would emerge in the middle of Diagon Alley. They would soon cross paths with Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger. The wizard trio are looking into mysterious disappearances and are suspicious of potential ex-followers of Voldemort being on the move. A battle with some surprise Death Eaters suddenly erupts but is ultimately cut short by the Death Eaters' defeat at the hands of Matilda, who reveals herself to be the one who sent the recent tip to the wizard trio. The Doctor, Derpy, and Spike are unsure of how to feel about Matilda's presence and Matilda recognizes the awkward feeling. Matilda and the two trios would then join forces and venture deep into the hidden dark magic underbelly of London. This would eventually lead them to the comatose Rarity, whose Equestrian magic is being drained from her being by Death Eaters. During the ensuing rescue, the Doctor and Harry stumble across Matilda as a foal. The Doctor is thrilled to find the foal Matilda but adult Matilda intervenes and takes her past self. The Doctor tries to convince the Doctor to let him take her younger self, with all the confusion this comes with. Matilda simply says that "this is how it must be" and departs with her past self. The Doctor helps Harry and the others defeat the remaining Death Eaters. Other aurors soon arrive to further take care of the situation. Harry, Ron, and Hermione are left confused by the whole events with Matilda but are thankful for her and the Doctor's help regardless. The Doctor says farewell to the wizards, hoping to see them again, and returns to the TARDIS with Derpy, Spike, and the comatose Rarity. Meanwhile, Matilda meets with River Song and Missy on the outskirts of Ponyville and hands her younger self over to River Song. River disappears with the young Matilda. It is then shown that they are meeting on the outskirts of Ponyville at point in "the near future". Matilda looks on sadly at a massive crater in the center of town.

S2E29: Fluttershy's Big Adventure:
This episode would start with the TARDIS arriving in the world of Littlest Pet Shop. The Doctor, Derpy, and Spike would arrive at the titular pet shop and meet Blythe Baxter as well as the rest of the Littlest Pet Shop gang. Thanks to the TARDIS, the Doctor is able to tap into Blythe's ability and converse with the animals alongside Derpy and Spike. Working together, they all discover that Fluttershy is in the care of the Biskit twins. Also, unlike the others, she isn't comatose. Rather she has reverted to a feral horse-state of mind. Blythe and the animals would help the Doctor rescue Fluttershy from the Biskits, with some antics and shenanigans along the way. Afterwards, the Doctor would bid farewell to Blythe and the animals and return to the TARDIS with Derpy, Spike, and Fluttershy. Upon sending the TARDIS to its next destination, Fluttershy would suddenly lose consciousness and become comatose.

S2E30&31: The Doctor and the Avatar & The Fire Lord and the Daleks:
The first episode of this 2-parter would start with the Doctor, Derpy, and Spike examining Fluttershy following the TARDIS's arrival in its new destination. The Doctor is left confused by Fluttershy's newfound comatose state but has no choice but to leave it until he rescues the last missing pony: Twilight. The Doctor, Derpy, and Spike exit the TARDIS and arrive in the world of Avatar The Last Airbender sometime during the comics after the end of the original series. They are currently in the Fire Nation capital. They would soon cross paths with Aang and the others and become fast friends. Though there is some initial shock and hesitation as expected. Aang taps into the spirit world on the Doctor's request to help them find Twilight, only to be met with a powerful psychic force. During the night, a mysterious series of attacks start raging throughout the city. The Doctor sets out with Aang to see what's happening. Upon investigation, the Doctor is horrified to see a Dalek roaming through the streets. While the others deal with the random attacks in the city, the Doctor and Aang follow a single Dalek deep beneath the city. The Doctor and Aang stumble across a massive hidden army of Daleks ready to take on the world above. The episode ends as, to the Doctor's horror, none other than Twilight is revealed to be leading them.

The second episode would pick up with the Doctor and Aang forced to retreat above ground and regroup with the others. Upon informing the others, they receive a warning from Twilight about the invasion. In order to buy the Doctor and Aang some time in order to find a way to stop the invasion, Zuko challenges Twilight to a single duel. The demented Twilight accepts. While the Doctor, Aang, and Derpy delve deep into the Dalek hive, Zuko faces Twilight in a one-on-one battle. The battle is long and difficult for both sides though, eventually, Twilight is able to defeat Zuko. Before she can deal the final blow, Katara rushes in to save him. Katara's act thus breaks the duel and gives Twilight the freedom to send her Dalek army into battle. Deep in the hive, the Doctor, Aang, and Derpy stumble across the source of the hive mind, which the Doctor figures was able to easily take over the probably comatose Twilight when she arrived. The Doctor and Aang combine their powers and enter a dangerous mental and spiritual battle with Twilight and the Dalek hive mind. Eventually, the Doctor and Aang are able to defeat the hive mind and save Twilight. With the invasion averted, the Doctor, Aang, and Derpy return to the surface to find that Twilight has returned to normal instead of falling comatose. She apologies profusely for her actions and is quickly forgiven. Seeing this, the Doctor gets Aang to help him wake up the remaining Mane 6 being safely held in the TARDIS. Everyone else is awakened. With all of the Mane 6 saved, the Doctor receives a message from Edgar, who informs him that it's time to get Ponyville home. The Doctor and the others bid farewell to Aang and company and set off back to London.

S2E32: Going Home:
This episode would start with the Doctor, Derpy, Spike, and the Mane 6 returning to Ponyville, which is still floating over London. The Doctor convenes with Discord, Jenny, and Kate about returning Ponyville to its right universe. Thanks to some advice from Edgar, the Doctor and the others form a plan. Using the combined force of UNIT, Torchwood, Discord's magic, the power of the Elements of Harmony within the Mane 6, and the TARDIS, everyone succeeds in teleporting Ponyville out of the Doctor's universe. However, the ride back to Equestria proves to be bumpy and Equestria bounces around several different universe, including the other universes visited throughout all of Season 2. Eventually, Ponyville would land comfortably back in Equestria and everyone can finally rest. The Doctor sends his thanks to Kate and UNIT through an interdimensional call in the TARDIS before heading to bed. However, as the Doctor settles in to bed, he is filled with haunting visions of the future and Garnet's warning. The Doctor awakens in the middle of the night to the sound of the TARDIS's arriving sound. When he knows that his TARDIS is standing still, he runs out of Twilight's library to see another TARDIS appearing. The Doctor is joined by Twilight, Spike, and Jenny as the second TARDIS fully appears. The episode ends with the Eleventh Doctor popping his head out of the TARDIS and saying "Hello again".

S2E33&34&35 The Oncoming Storm & Hell Comes to Equestria & The Dark One:
The first episode of this three-parter would start right after the last with the Doctor reuniting with his alternate self. Twilight invites 11 into her home but not before being introduced to his new companion: Clara Oswald. The Doctor asks about the whereabouts of Amy and Rory but the look on 11's face says enough. The Doctor is pained by the newfound loss of Amy and Rory but puts it aside to greet Clara. Inside Twilight's home, the Doctor asks why 11 and Clara are there. Clara is about as much in the dark the Doctor is but 11 is clearly shaken by something. He had been approached by a mysterious mare about needing to be with the Doctor right then. The Doctor instantly recognizes Matilda's presence in this and is angered. When morning arrives, Twilight and Spike decide to show Clara around Ponyville while the Doctor, Jenny, and 11 convene inside the TARDIS about what this could mean. Derpy arrives and is happy to see 11 again. The Doctor would notice other characters starting to converge in Ponyville such as Colgate, Clockwork, and Bright Eyes. Soon after this, Thalia would suddenly make a surprise appearance and start wreaking havoc across the town. The Doctor and the others would team up and successfully take down Thalia and her newfound forces. However, the Doctor would learn that Thalia is being mind-controlled. Upon learning this, the Mane 6 are captured again by a mysterious hooded figure. The Doctor and 11 are horrified as the hooded figure reveals himself as the Master.

The second episode would begin in the immediate aftermath of this. The Doctor would conclude that the Master was behind it all: helping the Madame obtain Time Lord DNA, causing Ponyville's disappearance and the conflict with the Mane 6, and with actions going on behind the scenes throughout other stories. The Master laughs at the Doctor's frustration with him and fear of his return and mocks his pony form. The clearly deranged Master then proceeds to snap his fingers and a massive chunk of Ponyville starts to sink down into a massive crater. The crater opens up into a massive vortex which leads to parts unknown. The Doctor and the others have no choice but to follow the Master through the vortex where he has taken the rest of the Mane 6. The vortex leads to a dark and dismal pocket dimension seemingly located right under Ponyville. After facing several horrors throughout the demented world, the Doctor and his allies would stumble across a terrible ceremony about to take place with the Mane 6 and the Master. The Doctor realizes that the Master really isn't the big bad behind everything and sees that even the Master is being controlled. The Doctor is then greeted by an old foe: the Beast. The mind of the Beast survived from their previous encounter and now seeks a new form within the universe it managed to be drawn to: Equestria. The Doctor and the others fight off against the forces of the Master, Thalia, and the Beast's monsters. However, the ceremony is ultimately ruined when the Mane 6 are rescued. Broken free from the Beast's power, the Master manages to uses his connection with the Beast to send a killing shot up to the monster. The Beast is defeated, a freed Thalia escapes, and the Master is mortally wounded and regenerates into Missy. However, the Beast's raw power manages to seep through into Equestria and shoots out towards the world above. The Doctor and the others race back up to the surface in order to contain the dark magic. The Doctor attempts to call down the Beast's magic in a last-ditch attempt to contain it. However, realizing the Doctor's danger, Derpy races to save him and ends up taking in the Beast's magic. The episode ends with Derpy becoming evil and announcing herself as the Dark One.

The third and final episode begins in the wake of the previous episode. The Doctor and his friends are left in shambles in a ruined Ponyville with Derpy having disappeared to parts unknown. The Doctor is desperate to save Derpy at any cost and the others are just as driven to do so. Over the course of the episode, the Doctor and the others would travel all over Equestria as the Dark One that was previously Derpy wreaks havoc wherever she goes. The final confrontation brings everyone back to Ponyville. The Doctor comes close to reaching Derpy by apologizing to her for failing her and revealing how much he cares about her. Derpy attempts to break through the darkness but she finds it too easy to fall back into the hold of its power. The Dark One is about to land a killing blow onto the Doctor when Missy suddenly uses some leftover tech from her previous self to open up a dimensional rift. Missy laughs hysterically at the horror of the situation before falling in. The rift is powerful enough to start sucking everything nearby into it. Not even magic can escape its grasp, with Twilight and the others left helpless in the wake of it all. The Doctor holds onto Derpy/the Dark One as the rift pulls her further and further in. Derpy manages to break through the darkness one last time to apologize to the Doctor and say "I love you" before letting herself fall into the rift and be thrown out into the universe. The rift closes and everything is left shocked and devastated. The Doctor walks away in silence. During the night, the Doctor is approached by Matilda. The Doctor surmises that Matilda knew this would happen and questions why she only sent his alternate self and Clara there instead of helping any further. Matilda explains that she thought he could use another Doctor during this time. The Doctor angrily rebuffs Matilda and sends her on her way. After this, Matilda is greeted by a future Missy before the two of them disappear to parts unknown. The Doctor meets up with the Mane 6, Spike, Jenny, 11, Clara, and his other friends in Ponyville. 11 tries to console the Doctor and sympathizes with him due to his own recent loss of the Ponds. The Doctor thanks Twilight and the others for their friendship and states that it is time for him to leave. He cannot face Ponyville and his friends again until he finds Derpy, returns her home, and makes things right. Twilight and the others try to protest. Jenny attempts to join the Doctor but the Doctor refuses. He must do this on his own. With his goodbyes said, the Doctor solemnly walks into his TARDIS and fades away, with his friends still calling out to him. Sometime later, Ponyville is being rebuilt. 11 and Clara have stuck around to help but now figure that it is time for them to leave. Twilight and the others are left wondering if they'll ever see their Doctor again. 11 figures that they will. He can tell that this version of himself won't leave loose ends and will return to be with them one day. But, for now, he must endure this new era in his life. Twilight stares out at the sunset as 11 and Clara depart. Meanwhile, in Edgar's universe, Edgar is admiring a sunset when the Doctor suddenly appears next to him. Edgar says "took you long enough" and the Doctor simply asks "Where is Derpy?"

And that's it for Season 2! Hope you all enjoyed this. I'll try to get the next and last part out soon where I discuss my plans for Season 3 and what I had planned for Season 4 as well.

Reading this is bittersweet. It’s really nice to see what could have been but never will. Thanks though for this!

Like I've said, I wish I could have continued with this but I think I might have been biting off more than I can chew with planning out all of this. But I'm happy I at least was able to provide it in one form I suppose. And, again, sorry for taking so long to continue listing all this info out since I last blogged about this series like two years ago. I just stumbled across my documents that had all the info in them and I was inspired to finally get all of this out. So the wait for the next and final blog about Seasons 3 and 4 won't take too long to come out. :)

My, this truly is a Christmas miracle!

It's here where the Doctor would meet Kate Stewart.

Ah, because in Canon Doctor Who, we first see Kate Stewart meeting the 11th Doctor.

Edgar uses his abilities within his world to turn the weakened Animator back into a child and sends him away to a reality to live out a new life in peace.

I imagine this means they were going to meet the Animator again later as a youth or something.

This episode would start with the Doctor, Derpy, and Spike following Edgar's coordinates and arriving in the world of Gargoyles.

That would have been so awesome. I've been binge watching Gargoyles since Disney+ launched.

In the meantime, the TARDIS arrives in the world of Steven Universe.

Steven Universe. That's a show I've never finished watching.

This episode would start with the TARDIS arriving in the world of Artemi Fowl outside the Fowl Estate.

Artemis Fowl. That's a book series I've never read. Perhaps I should. There's like a movie based on it being made by Disney coming out like next year or something.

S2E28: The Foal Who Lived

Sounds like it's set before the epilogue of Deathly Hallows while Harry, Ron, and Hermione are still young, but yet they're tracking our ex-Death Eaters. Still, love me a good Harry Potter crossover.

This episode would start with the TARDIS arriving in the world of Littlest Pet Shop.

Blythe and the animals would help the Doctor rescue Fluttershy from the Biskits, with some antics and shenanigans along the way.

That would have been awesome. Loved Littlest Pet Shop. I imagined it would have been a bit more light-hearted than other episodes in this arc.

The Doctor, Derpy, and Spike exit the TARDIS and arrive in the world of Avatar The Last Airbender sometime during the comics after the end of the original series.

I've been reading the Avatar: The Last Airbender comics lately. This would have been so awesome. I would have loved to have seen Toph metalbend a Dalek.

The Doctor and 11 are horrified as the hooded figure reveals himself as the Master.

😱 He's naturally the best villain to have your Doctor face in his second season.

The Doctor realizes that the Master really isn't the big bad behind everything and sees that even the Master is being controlled. The Doctor is then greeted by an old foe: the Beast.

A Master possessed by The Beast was alluded to in the first season of your stories.

The Beast is defeated, a freed Thalia escapes, and the Master is mortally wounded and regenerates into Missy.

A bit different that what happened in "The Doctor Falls" but then again you probably came up with this years before it aired.

The episode ends with Derpy becoming evil and announcing herself as the Dark One.

Derpy possessed by The Beast is The Dark One from Once Upon A Time. :derpyderp2:

Derpy manages to break through the darkness one last time to apologize to the Doctor and say "I love you" before letting herself fall into the rift and be thrown out into the universe.

Derpy was in love with The Doctor. :pinkiegasp: What would have Twilight felt when she found out?! :twilightoops:

What could have been was certainly something to behold. At least now we have some idea of where your stories would have gone. Since you found your Season 3 stuff, I look forward to seeing what that would have been.
