So, it's been a while. Those looking for a reason, writer's block is the culprit. I honestly hit a wall on my two ongoing stories. Combine that with a temporary job, being moved out of my house to accommodate my landlord's daughter (who'd just come from the hospital), and taking a new job waaaay out of state, and my writing has honestly crawled to a halt. I want to fix that, though. Granted, I won't be doing one chapter a week like I'd wanted to at the start of the year, but I want to try and move some stories along. I have Block III of A Blueblood for Everyone tentatively slotted out (if you want to leave suggestions, now's the time), and I think I finally know how to proceed with Scrap Basket. However, I also want to work on my original writing again, now that I have some names established. So... yeah. I have no set schedule, but I want to try and get a chapter of my two fanfics out at least once per month.
Looking forward to some more Blueblood.
4164096 Thanks! Any one in particular you're looking forward to?
4164137 How about an introspection about how Celestia raised four individuals in the recent past: Twilight, Cadance, Spike, and Blueblood. Is there a particular reason why the two females turned out to be well-rounded individuals who eventually ascended to alicornhood, while of the two males, one is a prince but seemingly in name only and holds the disdain of the public and peers alike, and a dragon who seems to place the entirety of his self-worth on how useful he is to other ponies?
4169304 That is a good question. I could say that it's the result of nature, that they were born with certain personality traits that matured over time. However, it's also possible that they had different parents. Cadance was raised by a village, then by Celestia, Twilight had her own parents (plus Cadance and Celestia) and Spike spent a lot of time with her. Blueblood... no-one knows.
