If they didn't get the notification then they aren't tracking the story.
Just cause you follow someone doesn't mean you get an update every time the person being followed does something.
4161729 I know that, but I don't know if everybody else does. Also, a good number of people said that even though they are tracking the story, and that they get notifications, they still did not get a notification from my recent stories. Might be a bug that'll get fixed soon, so who knows?
Also, blogging about publishing a new chapter of a story one of my followers isn't watching could make them want to read the story.
