What I've Realised · 2:46am Aug 12th, 2016
So I know that nobody is going to read this but I realise I haven't posted a blog in nearly a month. I've been to Melbourne for a week, come back and have been trying to focus on my studies. That is, until I realise that I haven't written much lately nor have I posted any new content. I've finally found the perfect story, the perfect idea and the perfect cover art to wrap it all up in. It's not much, but it will have to do until I get a chance to look at the next chapter of THBT.
I'm sorry I've been so absent lately. I think now that Cerulean Voice has retired and has stopped returning my messages on Skype entirely, I've feeling a bit down. I had this realization that I'm one in about a hundred people he knows on here and he's had the opportunity to meet so many of them, so its with that I decided to just let it go... which brings me to my next point.
Harmony Pie is the writer I always wanted to be. Especially when I was her age. Which now feels like a million years ago. At her age, I wasn't nearly as talented or as popular and some part of me feels like I'm never going to be. But trying to be someone I'm not isn't going to get me there either.
So hopefully my next story gets enough praise or at least, enough views that I don't feel like a total failure. Because Shy Victor wasn't received all that well and neither was the first chapter of THBT. But my friend Sunny Pack gave me some very important advice, he told me that the amount of views a story has does not justify its quality. Having thousands of views on a story doesn't mean its necessarily any good, it could be the magnum opus of fanfiction or some scum's lazy cash in clopfic/click-bait story. So while THBT does not have the view count of a highly successful story, it has the heart of one.
If I'm lucky, I might actually finish a story by the end of the week. It won't be very long but it will capture what emotions I've been feeling lately and will mostly be an atmospheric piece rather than an exciting adventure.
It's good to be back.
Until next time,
~ A
Writing is subjective, so the advice that was said to you was mostly correct in my opinion. What could be brilliant to one could be unimportant to another. I will definitely be looking forward to your story.^^

I always look forward to your writing, whether I get to be a part of the creative process or not. So I'll be looking forward to this piece as well.
