Now, I hate to be picky. Some of you know me. I'm pretty laid back... To a fault as my updates and out turns can tell you. But, I do have some gripes from time to time.
Namely in this case, it's about the lack of some character tags. I remember there was a time where when a new character landed on the show, that person's tag was up by Monday. Now, we are seasons behind and we aren't getting any site news outside of the "Weekly Round Up" and whatever else there is of personal interest to the moderators.
Maybe my opinion doesn't matter, maybe I'm off base. I don't know. What I do know is that I am not alone in wanting to submit stories about established characters without the "other" tag. I have a few stories sitting for that reason. I don't want them out because it feels almost dismissive without the tags.
In fact, you can attribute my lack of updates for that reason. Because the tags are a part of a much larger problem. A lack of interest or involvement from the people running the site. Again, maybe I am completely wrong. But to me, the lack of new tags for characters people want over months is a glaring problem.
That's all I really have to say. If you want, why don't you weigh in on this or make your own post. Who knows? Maybe we will finally get those new tags.
Yeah, I find that annoying as well. After that vote ages ago, I saw that many people voted for a griffon tag and I was excited that it'd make searching for stories with them easier, but nada, still nowhere to be seen.
But I've heard there's a good chance we'll get them by 2034,right for season 24.
I totally agree with this. Occasionally, I want to read a story about the shadowbolts or other characters from season 5 or 6, but there isn't a tag for the characters, so it's hard to find them.

But really, all we need is for knighty to get the led out on that new tagging system (+ x many other changes he mentioned but hasn't delivered on) then we could create our own tags for these characters.
