Hello everyone!
Today I am pleased to announce that Fallout Equestria: Icicle finally has cover art! The Cover Art is by Pridark, check out her DA here!
With that bit of awesome news also comes the release of a new chapter and the reintroduction of a two old chapters. Today, Chapter 32 - Shroud of Death was released! This chapter brings to a close the story arc that started with Chapter 30 - Emerging Darkness.
The other two chapters released are Intermission - Hal, which is a chapter from what was originally the Army of Cora story and the final chapter to that bit. It isn't too important to the story, but it introduces a new character. The third chapter released today, is the entirety of Spear of the North, Chapter 33. This one starts another story arc that will span three chapters total and it is also the arc where Ratchet really starts to feel the effects of the Wasteland.
Now, let's talk about future chapters.
Chapter 34 - Fracture, I am putting the final touches on and should be ready in a few days.
Chapter 35 - Singularity, has a name, but I've not started writing it yet. It has a definite plan and goal in mind, so it should hopefully flow once I get around to actually writing it.
Chapter 36 - The Battle for Red Wing, is finished, 100%. However, since it takes place after the others, I can't release it yet. I also cannot stress enough that this chapter takes place during another fanfic. Merchants of Hope by Gamma Deekay to be specific. My chapter takes place right at the end, so if you haven't read Merchants of Hope already, you will basically find out how Merchants of Hope ends. Don't spoil yourself, go read Merchants of Hope, it is great.
Chapter 37 - Wake Up Call, has a title. This chapter starts the final story arc which will help to clear up the mysterious of the previous chapters.
Chapter 38 - Deliverance, has a title. This chapter will be the last actual chapter and end things in the Icicle story. I personally cannot wait to write the ending.
**There might be another chapter between Wake Up Call and Deliverance. It depends upon how the pacing is going and if I feel the need to add another. But that will just mean that Deliverance is Chapter 39 instead of 38.
Cora's Chapter - Disclosure, this 'chapter' is completed. It is kind of like an Epilogue, but it is Cora kind of revealing her point of view as things took place over the course of Icicle.
Ratchet's Chapter - Hope, is similar to Cora's Chapter. It wraps things up and concludes the story.
Epilogue, this is going to be confusing. Since there is so much that Ratchet and the gang has effected, I'll have to do things sequentially. It will cover the major ponies, settlements, and stories that are touched upon through Icicle and in keeping with Epilogue fashion, tell you what inevitably happened to them.
Anyhow, that is my road map of how Icicle will be coming to a close. No more side stories for it from me, I'll be closing the book. But that doesn't mean you can't use Ratchet or the others in your stories. As long as the time is right Ratchet can appear. :P
Look forward to the conclusion of Icicle, because I know I am excited to write it!
