TV shows generally have absolutely horrid science and/or technology. Usually it's to speed things up so that everything fits into 45 minutes, but it still gives a bad impression of what those jobs entail.
4098555 The science in CSI and similar things is terrible. Especially the magic computers, but pretty much everything else, including the accuracy and speed of what you find. As a result, you end up with juries and the public at large with a weird two-bump curve; they are both sometimes expecting waaaay too much information and accuracy way too quickly, and on the other hand, they're also willing to give something that looks and sounds "right" more of a benefit of the doubt than they should. The CSI effect has measurably changed expectations in a miserable way.
There's also the fact that the investigators are immensely unprofessional. Real scene investigators and forensic scientists do NOT pursue cases independently, cannot withhold evidence from the police involved... etc. It's just... basically, the GI Joe cartoon has more to do with the way real forensics do than CSI and most of its clones and heirs.
It's canon NOW! Spike is the bridge between the races!

Eather way, it's nice to see to see a Guys-Hanging-Out episode. It's one of the things the writers took out of fanfiction as this kind of stuff happens in here...

Yes Changeling's are back. Well another lone one, besides Cranky's wedding guest. But huzzah!!!
That changeling is the same one that was in 'Slice of Life' as well as the one that flew away from the Crystal Empire at the end of 'The Crystalling'. I knew the writers don't put up on stuff like that unless they're important sometime in the future.
EDIT: is it just me, or does it starts to get to annoy you that Spike still can't fly like every other blasted dragon in the show? And I'm sorry, but the 'he's a baby dragon' line is slowly not treading water anymore for me. It's showing that he's growing up and all. Personally I don't care if he could or could not, but seriously, actually come up with reason why every other dragon but him has wings and he doesn't, or make it canon that he's like a Earth or some other sort of wingless dragon and call it a day. Not to mention it's annoying that once again Spike has to be saved because he can't fly.
