Holy frig. This chapter is way longer than I expected it to be. Why is this chapter so hard to write. Why do I have to resolve so many plot points while setting up even more new ones. How many plot points do I have. How much do I have left to write. Why did I write this fic. Why are all the things happening.
Should I just go "f*** it all" and split this chapter in half and post the first half?

You changed your description from "look at the frabjous horse-braids"!
If there's a part of the chapter that you feel could make a clean break, then I say go for it. If the chapter's already 20k words, 10k's plenty to read for now.
If you're reaching five digits worth of words for a single chapter, look for a place where you can split it in a way that feels natural.
Also, try getting some proofreaders and editors, those can be helpful.

I was wondering why you were taking so long to update. that's a huge ass chapter and I am excited to get to read it which is why My vote is selfishly for splitting the chapter because I REALLY want to read more of your story and not have to wait more. That's honestly my only reason. If you don't wanna split the chapter don't but I Would be sad and may or may not cry myself to sleep if you don't.
