Group project for the Lunaverse · 1:43am Sep 7th, 2012
Last night I posted a new short story titled Longest Night: Prince Blueblood's Day that was met with a decent ammount of success among the Lunaverse group but also inspired a few other authors. It was mentionned it would be better to have all those short stories united under a single header instead of cluttering the Lunaverse front page and I agree.
So the story has been reworked into a group project retitled Longest Night: Everypony's Day and will feature chapters each retelling what was happening to various side characters during the events of LNLD. Not sure what kind of tags I can put on that one now...
In any case any Lunaverse author who'd like to have their chapter included we got a discussion thread in the message boards to claim your character and you can just send the finished chapter to me and I'll add it to the Everypony's Day chapter!
Look forward to chapters by GrassandCloud2, Blackbelt, Emeral Bookwise, KERlend and others!
*Slice of Life* would seem a good tag, since I think the idea would be to keep these fics as the ordinary ways that ordinary folks dealt with such an extraordinary situation.

What I meant was mostly the character tags
I kept Blueblood because that's how it started and just slapped OC and Others tag. Might add a fourth tag is the most recent chapter feature a character with a tag. If we get any I might put the Mane6 tag.

Ah yes that makse sense. *Other* an *OC* will probably be all aroud best for wide coverage. To bad there aren't more multi-character tages though; a generic background ponies tag would be real handy sometimes.

Of course speaking of group tags, now I'm wondering what all a M6 would even be up to exactly. FS would just be hiding in her cottage the whole time, and I rather like the idea that AJ and Dash where at the head of the mob wrecking Trixie's residence (possibly with Pinkie there to thinking it's all some kind of 'pitchforks & torches' party
). Twilight would be a pretty open book though, as who knows what she'd have been up to.

I too like the idea of AJ and Dash being in the mob trashing Trixie's house, and probably they feel lousy about it because she went and became a hero while they did nothing worthwhile.
Berry was probably getting drunk.
Huh. I might actually have a workable idea for this starring everyone's favourite podium junky, Mayor Mare.
My show head-cannon used to place her on the moral continuum somewhere between "Diamond" Joe Quimby and Mom of MomCorp in Futurama, but a sweetly written fic turned me around. Well, it got me thinking she was well meaning, at least, if not competent,
I figure that L!Mayor could pretty good at her job, if someone would let her do it. Instead she's has spent a few years feeling badly hamstrung by the Trust's muscle, simply being a non-Ponyvillian (my logic, but if she affects grey hair, that accent, and she's a local....), and dealing with the previous Representative.
Suddenly, there's a new Representative she might have something in common with and a chance to bask in some reflected glory from the Princess's visit and the Longest Night Celebration, which amazingly isn't a shambles for once...
....and then Corona touches down.
