Greetings all. Just a few details for you on my first story, Project Oblivion. When you read this story, you're looking at a year of my life, during which I asked myself the question "Can I write a novel, and, can I write a novel that makes the characters I love as believably realistic as possible?"
This proved to be a difficult task costing many sleepless nights and vigils in front of the computer. In the end, I hope I have succeeded in this, and I find the many positive comments from all of you to be greatly encouraging.
I've received several curious responses as to why I posted this all at once. The simple reason is because I completed it like that. I wrote the story, then went back to the beginning and rewrote it. I had a friend read it over for major errors, and I am sorry to say that even now I find errors in it. But I hope the reader can look past some of these and enjoy the story as a whole.
Thank you all for checking out my work and encouraging me to continue on to new things... like perhaps a sequel.
The thing is, finding good fics on this site is usually pretty hard, but then suddenly this awesome story shows up out of nowhere. It's even harder to find good alien-themed fics, especially long ones. I'm trying to write a somewhat similar story but I doubt its going to be nearly as good. Keep up the good work. Speaking of which, no pressure, but do you plan on making a sequel?
4127407 Hey there! I'm actually working on a sequel right now. It will be a long time before I can complete it though. I'm so happy you enjoyed my work! I do intend to keep writing, I hope to one day also create some original sci-fi books as well!

4127415 I intend to serialize it next time so that it won't be such a long wait if I decide to make another. But I will complete the story before I begin releasing it serially.
