A Message to the LGBT Community · 4:15pm Jun 15th, 2016
Greetings my good sirs and my good ladies. Although I am a straight man, in order to show my support in light of the recent tragedy, I have elected to join the LGBT group.
While I am there, I wish to use this opportunity to show some love to the good ladies and gentlemen of the LGBT community. Therefore, to you I say this:
Back in my school days, many long years ago, we were told to be tolerant. I, however, am uncomfortable with the term.
I tolerate a crying baby on a bus.
I don't tolerate you, my good ladies and gentlemen. I LIKE you.
You are awesome.
I don't care if you are gay, bisexual, lesbian, straight, transsexual or anything else. You are awesome, and you should always remember how awesome you are.
I invite other users to take this opportunity to give our fellows some love. Let us remind our friends of how awesome they are.
Never sure how to respond to messages like these.
Thanks, I guess.
