Added Pinkie to my workstation merch pile. Super squishy Pinkie was a gift from my mom at the family reunion, so now I got double the pie!
In other news, let's talk writing progress. In an effort to keep myself focused, I reduced the number of "active stories" I have. The idea being that as I finish up one, I take one off the back burner and move it up the priority list. In direct opposition to that, I started a crack shipping project with Misago as a distraction tactic - to sort of help me bust up writing logjams that cropped up from focusing too hard on one project.
It's not an elegant system, I admit, but it works most of the time. It has allowed me to keep more or less on schedule with both My Little Dynamite and Dazzling Sunset. It's been a great way to test out ideas without committing to a full fic and it's helped me stress test headcanon-y stuffs.
Work and real life have been pretty beastly in the past month or so, but things are starting to calm down/normalize now. My overall writing production has skyrocketed because of it. So long as something else doesn't come along to take my knees out from under me(fingers, toes and butt cheeks crossed), I should be moving along pretty quickly.
Fics in Progress:
My Little Dynamite: Book Two - The next chapter is on date for release on the 15th. This one will be a little longer than the last few chapters and start getting back to what's going on with Chrysalis and the Royal Sisters. A few more of these and we will be in 100% new content that never made it to the Twidance Collab. When I hit that point, MLD will switch to a one chapter per month release on the 15th of each month.
A Dazzling Sunset - Chapter 9 is still well off from being complete. It's currently sitting at just under 2K with a projected length of 6K. The girls are back in Equestria for a little while but it's back to business after some silliness. Feelings between the two are growing fast and wild and it's only a matter of time before start ripping each others' clothes off again. I have about 3 chapters left after this, and in the crack shipping project, I've already explored some alternate endings for each of the sirens. Those will likely make their way into DS and will be marked appropriately.
Alicorn Switcheroo - I intended chapter 5 to be the last chapter, but it has grown such that I think I will split it in two. I still need to get in more cute Twilestia moments and then do the big reveal of the final. It's already over 9K and I can see it easily ballooning to 15K. No promises on that, but I'm pretty close to sending the first half to the editor. Once they are done, I will likely release both chapters at once and end one of my oldest fics.
Weapon of Mass Seduction - Some of you might recall a long time back when I teased a Cadance and Fleur shipfic. Welp, it now has a title! It also has the first 2 of 5 or 6 chapters done, each of which are sitting at about 5K words. Cadance needs to drum up tourism for the Crystal Empire and decides to make a travel brochure. Unfortunately, she has no idea how to do that. Fortunately, there is somepony that can help...assuming she doesn't accidentally seduce the whole of Cadance's staff before doing so. Same characterization of Fleur di Lis as in Violin Maker's Daughter, though not a sequel or anything.
And then there is the crack shipping project. There is no official name yet, nor am I sure how I'll format it. Maybe post them by pairing, with chapters for each authors' take on it? Then link them all together as a 'verse? Dunno yet. Either way, we are 10 solid ships into it(14 if you want to be technical, but some of them wouldn't work as actual fics. They're more like headcanon notes.) and I think it's time to give you a full list:

Yes, super squishy Pinkie Pie came from a Surprise Egg! Outside of seeing my cousin James for the first time in a decade and having dinner with everyone, Pinkie was the best part of the whole reunion.
