Concerning Daily Chapters. · 4:23am Jun 3rd, 2016
BAH, this next one is hard to do. I've spent at least 3 hours staring at this screen, but there's so much riding on this chapter that I can't seem to write anything without some inconsistencies. That said, i'm about 1000 words into it and I SHOULD be able to keep the daily posts going if I can finish it by tomorrow night (no that's not cheating <.<).
Either way, I've got to head to bed now because my brain hurts. Writing this story and incorporating mathematics this way is like the difference between walking on a sidewalk and playing qwop. There's so much that goes on behind the scenes when you take the derivative of a function that you just don't need to know, so you never think about it. However, since Starswirl doesn't have the luxury of thousands of years of math being condensed into a few hours each week, he's left to struggle for the scraps that he can conjure up himself.
Either way, sorry for not having a chapter ready immediately when it got to midnight this morning xD.
writing daily and incorporating maths whatever way you are doing must be a lot of effort. im just going to start reading your story and i already think it will be a good one
I don't care about the rate that chapters are written as long as the quality is maintained or improved. Many stories are updated no more than once a week. Some I follow are often less than once a month. You're doing something very difficult trying to create a history yet have it be somewhat mathematically sound. I cannot think of another work of fiction which has attempted that.
