Hey just stopping by to let people know that I haven't given up on "I Are Crew Chief" just yet. Still going through my own personal situation but am going to try and take advantage of this creative urge I've had lately to work on some chapters. So hope for another update if not this week then in the couple of weeks following when I make a trip with the kids back home to visit family.
Until then I give you this old sketch I was working on of how I visualize our herd members relaxing on a beach (might be something I use later in the story or not. We'll see.) Edited, of course, to meet website rules.

Just guessing from the pic (haven't read the story yet) that these are, from left to right, Twilight, MC, Luna, and then Celestia? If it's anyone else well I apologize and I have plans to actually read your story soon. Or now. Now is good.
3983000 LOL yeah he's supposed to be asleep while his herdmate talk/plot, but this picture was giving me issues all over. From problems with AJ's pose never coming out like I wanted, to off proportions, to just not really meeting my standards. I wouldn't mind doing it over again one day because I still like the overall concept of it.
3983078 I could see how not having read the story is a reason to not know who each of them are. Plus it's a sketch still so not everything is in it yet. The characters are , from left to right, Applejack, OC, Luna, Celestia.
So if that's enough reason for you to want to read the story by all means go ahead *wink* *wink* *nudge* *nudge* although I will say the foriegn language in the beginning can make it a little rough.

The freckles really should have given it away. I guess I just didn't put 2 and 2 together because of the absentee stetson... Although that faint oval just above her that I missed the first time could be it. 
3983227 Yeah at the end of arc 1 the Mane 6 found out they were spiritual reincarnations of pieces of Queen Harmonia's soul.
3983229 Understandable, plus without reading the story alicorn Applejack would not be most people's first guess. The oval above her head is/was where I was going to put it but we'll see in the future if and when i finish it.

3984171 ROFL not really, but without other clues in the pic to give you an idea I can see how that pose may look like that. The original idea for the pic was him and his herdmates relaxing at a beach under the shade of an umbrella. The mares would be talking/plotting while our protagonist caught some much needed sleep, because afterall, "Pimpin' ain't easy."
3984992 God I hope so. At this rate the story will be done when fans celebrate the 25th anniversary of the show.
