    Still here

Hey just stopping by to let people know that I haven't given up on "I Are Crew Chief" just yet. Still going through my own personal situation but am going to try and take advantage of this creative urge I've had lately to work on some chapters. So hope for another update if not this week then in the couple of weeks following when I make a trip with the kids back home to visit family.

    Hello

Hey everyone just wanted to give people an update and thought in the waning hours of my birthday why not let it be today. Please excuse me if this seems like kind of a rant but as avid readers of my attempts to improve my writing and storytelling I feel like y'all deserve the right to know the truth.

Important news for next chapter status

I am working on the next few chapters, but some important family issues came up shortly before Thanksgiving that will take most of my time for about the next 6 months. Will work on it as much as I can, but as of right now I can give no timeline on when the next tchapter will be done. But rest assured that this story is not going away, I just have to deal with this RL stuff first.

    In your opinion

Alrighty now, finally wrapping up the first arc after what feels like forever working on it and looking forward to writing the future adventures of Eric and his herdmates. But before we close this chapter and move on I had some things I have been mulling over in my mind and would like some outside opinions from the people who have supported this story so much and been so patient.

But before we close this chapter and move on I had some things I have been mulling over in my mind and would like some outside opinions from the people who have supported this story so much and been so patient.

1. Should each arc of the IACC story remain in the original story or would y'all like to see each arc posted as it's own story?

2. If it does go into seperate stories should it stay in 1st peron narrative ?

3. Etc.? Anything else you can thing of that could help improve the story.

I like the first person narrative and I don't mind if you want to keep the entire story in one format or separate each arc in different stories. As for how to improve your story, I don't know how to answer that as I think that you're doing fine. Regardless, I'm excited that the next chapter is coming soon.

I can't say much for the nertivie. However, I say writenin which ever format you feel comfortable with. As for improvements... Erh can't help there, but I'd like to see/read what happened to are human friend when Luna cornerd him. Really curious about that one.

I'm just looking forward to a full clop scene with Luna.... please?

Write what you are comfortable with. I have read author's notes and different blogs about writer's tell their story in either First-Person or Third-Person. For example the author "SaiyanUltima" asked the same questions to his followers and has written/rewritten his stories in the different view points as well. In the end he stuck to with the way he felt more comfortable and confident with. As for the idea of making each different arc it's own story is not a bad idea. It can make it much easier for new readers because of how less the story is. Another example of author writing a story about their character's would be "David Silver". He/She has has written over three stories about his OC's.

IT LIVES!!!

But seriously, you should write whatever you feel comfortable with.

Yay you live.... glad to see you are still around. Anyways...

1. Its really does not matter to me. Either one works.

2. Its up to you how you like to write and do what you like to write as.

3. I do not have anything. Keep up the good work.

1: keep it part of the original story

2. i like the way the story has been done so far, so i would continue it that way?

3. nope

Well looks like the views are pretty unanimous on me continuing what I've been doing so far so that's what I shall do. My concerns were if maybe the 1st person narrative had ran its course for the purpose of the story and would be too restrictive as I continued on to expand this story's world. I mean it's more than possible to do with 1st person it's just more of a challenge for me as an author to do it without turning into a bunch of dialogue. Then again that's why I started it in 1st person was to challenge myself.

Also, for now, the arcs shall remain in one story for continuity reasons. This may change depending on whether readers find it too overwhelming. Because right now it's looking like IACC will be 4-5 arcs with each one between 150,000-200,000 words.

:rainbowlaugh: I guess it's expected for readers to want to see more saucy scenes between Eric and his herdmates. Although a little surprised by the outcry (is 2 people considered an outcry?) for more clop scenes of Luna. Still rest assured there will be more clop scenes in the future while still remaining within the non-clop premise of the overall story. So sexy but tasteful.

3359280 Thanks for the links, have read SaiyanUltima's works before and have enjoyed their stuff although I haven't had the chance to read David Silver's so thanks for bringing him to my attention. I'll have to read some of their's when I get the chance.

Thanks everyone for voicing your opinions.
