If you read my story Sisters here on fimfiction, you may not have realized that it's a 3-story collection on EqD. The third story is In Celestia We Trust, All Others Pay Cash by Georg. We didn't plan that. He asked me to read it before he submitted it on fimfiction; I loved it and said it fit with these other two I was writing and we should submit all 3 together to EqD.
Other Luna-Celestia stories I recommend:
Drop of Moonshine by Pen Stroke: “Princess, are you okay? You’re acting very strange.” “Oh yeah? Well, Twilight, you’re... you’re purple,” Celestia countered.
This is pure comedy, similar to the stories in Sisters. Includes an appearance by the infamous Hasbro Celestia. Short.
Night Court by El Grande: Luna resumes her duties holding court after her return. This is a clever, competent, though not always confident Luna. Celestia is hardly seen. Funny, but not just funny.
Half the Day is Night by AugieDog: More of an adventure story, and there's no Celestia at all, but her presence is important. Another "Luna regains her confidence" story, and I'm listing it despite its lack of Celestia because I like it, dammit. Long.
Check and Checkmate by Obselescence: Celestia uses a game of chess to try to teach Luna a lesson about hope. Not at all funny, but very good. Short.
So 3 out of 4 of my recommendations are stories about Luna regaining her confidence. I didn't plan that either.

I have read In Celestia We Trust
I thought it was very good. I enjoyed the entire series.
I've read a couple of the others, but not all. Perhaps when I have time, I'll read them.
I enjoyed Drop of Moonshine. It was pretty good. Then again all of Pen stroke's works are. Half the Day is Night was also very well written.
