OH MY GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD! THAT'S TOTALLY STAY PUFT!

Edit: Wait... no it's not.... THAT'S THE DAMN GHOSTBUSTERS LOGO!

You can't beat Dan Akroyd.

3960387 HE'S GOT THE SAME BOW TIE THING!!!! AND IT LOOKS LIKE THEY'RE MELTING HIM!

3960440 Yet look at the head..... there's a slight curve....... just like the trademark ghost.

3960447 Well it's possible. But either way, they dun fucked it up. Bad.

3960450 ...... may I ask why?

3960453 Well other than every other thing wrong with the movie, just look at this, then look at the ghost logo for Ghostbusters. Then look at Stay Puft. No matter which one it is, THEY DON FUCKED IT UP. Stay Puft isn't a freaking razor toothed monster, and neither is their logo! And I do believe that's supposed to be Stay Puft, because the movie's trailers seem to show that the plot is VERY SIMILAR to the original Ghostbusters!

3960466 ....... Force Awakens..... all I'm saying.

3960471 At least The Force Awakens did it good, which is WAY MORE than can be said for this movie.

3960495 And when it turns out to be good? I'll be among the other fans who gave it hope laughing at those who thought it'd fail.

3960503 Nothing about this movie looks like a good idea. It just looks so unfunny, so bland, and it just looks like it's only reason for existing is to cater to SJW's, who are also tearing it to shreds!!!

3960516 Nothing looked good about BvS yet you're defending it.

3960517
To be fair, BvS only had really one bad trailer, and that was the third one that showed pretty much the entire plot. Judging by its opening weekend, the marketing itself was successful for that movie, even if it didn't have long legs at the box office.

This trailer gave me AIDS

3961669 In the actual movie yes. The trailers showed the only good parts for people like you to see it in rose tinted glasses.

3960818 It was actually the second trailer. The third trailer was honestly the BEST trailer.

3961802
I'm counting the teaser as a trailer, so with that and the Comic Con trailer it was the third trailer, though second full length trailer, yes.

3961673 And you're saying that Superman's death scene, Superman's confrontation with Lex after he pushes Lois off the building, the opening, Batman's first appearance, Wonder Woman's fight scenes, and the Justice League cameos weren't good?

Oh? And what do you mean by, "people like me"?

3961932 People who will eat anything DC throws out nowadays because you feel like it makes you 'cool' and 'rebellious' instead of.... you know. ACTUALLY liking good movies. The Superman death scene? Too quick and done too fast without much in the way of pomp and circumstances. Superman's confrontation with Lex shou;d've showed off how smart Lex is instead of how deranged he is. Batman's opening segment, while very reminiscent of the Arkham Games, was done to try and show off how bad ass he is.... without showing how bad ass he is. One guy..... wow instead of.... a whole WAREHOUSE full of people like in Batman Beyond.. Wonder Woman's BRIEF appearance where she was shoe horned into this movie just so we could have a trinity? Yeah that was a slap to the face since she could've done MORE and had MORE characterization. Though the new movie MIGHT fix it. Oh the League cameos? The only one whose powers really got to shine was Aquaman's..... and he BARELY did anything aside from breathe underwater and swim away.

The Superman death scene? Too quick and done too fast without much in the way of pomp and circumstances.

Says the guy who once told me that, if they do have Captain America's death in Civil War, you hope they treat it with enough respect and dignity that Superman's death was treated with.

Superman's confrontation with Lex shou;d've showed off how smart Lex is instead of how deranged he is.

It did. It showed how intelligent and how deranged he is. It showed how deranged he is by Lex showing Superman the pictures of Martha held captive. And it showed how intelligent he is by him manipulating Superman, and by Lex telling Superman how he manipulated Batman into fighting each other.

Batman's opening segment, while very reminiscent of the Arkham Games, was done to try and show off how bad ass he is.... without showing how bad ass he is. One guy..... wow instead of.... a whole WAREHOUSE full of people like in Batman Beyond..

They already have a warehouse fight scene later in the movie. -.- And that opening scene was there to show how cruel and brutal this Batman was, evident with the branded criminal. And him hanging off the wall like a bat? That was badass!!!

Wonder Woman's BRIEF appearance where she was shoe horned into this movie just so we could have a trinity? Yeah that was a slap to the face since she could've done MORE and had MORE characterization. Though the new movie MIGHT fix it.

She was here to show us Wonder Woman, build her up a little bit before her big movie. But! Could the movie have done without her? Yes. But she was there to be built up, and they did just that.

Oh the League cameos? The only one whose powers really got to shine was Aquaman's..... and he BARELY did anything aside from breathe underwater and swim away.

Really? Now, I can understand some people might be confused by Cyborg's cameo, but what about Flash's? His cameos were both amazing! It showed us the Flash in action! His powers shone a LOT.

3961983 ..... you know what? Forget it. I forgot how impossibly stubborn you are. I should've known better.

3961992 It's not me being stubborn. It's me defending a movie that I love.

3961983 I know this has been said a lot, but I do not blame Jesse Eisenburg for what was done with Lex... I can deal with corney jokey Lex, even if his Lex is like Gene Hackman on crack... But Lex was the main villain.... Okay. He's a MASTER MANIPULATOR, he could quite effectively arrange things to put Superman in Batman's sights without having to rely on "Oh I kidnapped your mother!" to make it happen. Yes, on the surface? His plan makes sense. Batman stole from him, he hates Superman, force them to fight so on one hand? Batman kills Superman that's one headache gone. Superman kills Batman? Vengeance for stealing the Kryptonite. Either way Lex would be satisfied, but we don't get it. It's not BRILLIANT of Lex to just kidnap Martha and go

"Hey! Fight Batman!"

Which isn't smart... Because for all HE knows Clark could honestly just have told Batman what was happening, they have a FAKE fight to distract Lex and in the confusion rescue Martha and bring Lex down... THAT is a good plot and would have worked so much better.

My own personal feelings on Superman's death is that it was WASTED. Angry Joe in his and the Nostalgia Critic's review summed my feelings up perfectly.

"I want to see the Justice League at Superman's funeral but now I can't! I want to see a hero who's giving his all in the most climactic battle of his life, but now I can't! I want to see it as the one time that Superman won't make it back, but now I can't!"

I won't lie! I teared up when it happened.... But if this was a few movies in? And it played out EXACTLY like it did in say THIS scene?

I would have been BAWLING, because that is Superman's DEATH being portrayed in all facets of how it should be. Earth's Greatest Hero FALLING and the fallout of that. And yet? It ended with Superman's name in the mud and while sad, not denying that, it rang hollow on a lot of levels. I'm a Marvel guy and a DC guy... Closer leaning toward DC due to my favorite superhero in general(Cough Superman Cough) and I will say this without any hint of fanboy biased or favoritism... Captain America: Civil War worked and was more effective telling its story because there was an established history with Steve and Tony and the conflict did not feel forced.

HAD Cap died at the end of it all? It would have worked better because of one thing! We have had FOUR movies with Steve Rogers to get to know him, to see the hero he is and to feel his importance in this universe. Yes IMPORTANCE because while Captain America isn't the FIRST Marvel superhero, he holds the distinction of being ONE OF it's first and most popular ones during WWII. He IS the Superman of the MCU because he was the first superhero they STATED it word for word in the Avengers.... HAD he died? We would have gotten a much more real and much more satisfying ending. With the Avengers there, the entire team, hell likely shots of the Netflix Marvel heroes in crowd shots.... Because Cap is that big a piece of the MCU..... Superman is.... Not. Not really. Yeah he kickstarted it someone but come on Wonder Woman shows us? SUPERHEROES HAVE BEEN AROUND SINCE WORLD WAR 1 IN THIS UNIVERSE! It was handled WRONG in Dawn of Justice no way to beat around the bush.

Dawn of Justice felt forced to hell and back because you can give reasons all the live long day about how Batman doesn't trust Superman and so on... But end of the day it just didn't work as presented. It could have, I actually have a friend who thinks this, and I do to, that if they went with a Sin City style narration for the characters? We could have gotten INTO THEIR motivations and it could have had a very comic book feel to it, which since Snyder was kowtowing to Frank Miller during the Batman stuff we can safely assume they wouldn't have minded letting him go with that angle.

3960503

And when it turns out to be good? I'll be among the other fans who gave it hope laughing at those who thought it'd fail.

Yeah, no. Any production that tries to hire an all-women cast, all-women team just for the sole fact that they're women, is doomed to fail from the beginning. The same goes for all-men casts and tea-oh wait. Those don't exist.

All I'm saying is that if you want to make a movie, hire people based on skill and experience, not on what gender they are.

Oh, and by the way, you sound like one of those idiots that actually support the crap that BlackLivesMatter is saying on Twitter, like, the whole fiasco over them saying F:yay:k Paris, and making it a 'hashtag'. Yeah, that's a real thing. Go look for yourself >here<.

3964101 ..... you know what? Fine. Let the movie burn. I've given up. Go ahead and insult it all you want. I'm done with all of this.
