Pause for Charity · 8:11am May 18th, 2016
Hi folks!
The next segment of this adventure may take a while to appear, as I have less time for writing lately. The reason for this is that at the end of June, me and my housemate are doing a 51-mile charity walk, and to be sure we'll get to the checkpoint in time we're doing at least one practice walk every week.
And on that note, do you think we should do more to protect children who are accused of witchcraft? I was just reading the other day about a 8 year old Nigerian girl who had ginger and pepper rubbed in her eyes to drive out a demon, because a neighbour was having a run of bad luck. This is barbaric, and shouldn't exist in the modern age. I'm going to be walking a route that ten witches were forced to walk to Lancaster Castle (then a prison) 400 years ago, to raise money for people who still suffer like this today. If you know anyone who can help, then please make a donation. Every little helps.
Sponsored walk for Safe Child Africa (registered charity) on Justgiving
(I'm also donating £1 from every sale of my book Sandpaper Kiss until the 24th)
Thankyou, everypony
