Want me to finish my stories? Here's how you can help. · 3:20am May 18th, 2016
So as you probably are aware of by now, I have been a bit more active on the site for a few reasons.
1. I missed you guys. Seriously, you make me smile.
2. My health is a little better now. I've come to the conclusion that a lot of it is mental, so I'm doing my best to keep busy mentally (here) and physically (with my RL pony).
3. I want to write more stories! I have so many half-finished ones sitting around that it's bugging me to no end.
Alas, I still suffer from chronic low self-esteem and laziness. I often start up projects without finishing the old ones. This is how I got to have so many half-finished stories lying around.
Believe it or not, your continued interest really helps me to write more often, quicker, and even higher quality. My encouragement to you is this . . . If you want to see some more of my stories updated/finished, I need to know that you want to see them. Here's some ways you can do that.
1. Drop a comment! It doesn't have to be profound. Any little encouragement goes a long way. I just want to know folks are reading and enjoying my work.
2. If you've the time, why not consider prereading your favorite stories? I'm ALWAYS open to prereaders (and proofreaders), particularly if they are a regular reader of that story. You don't have to have any experience either! Prereading is all about the readers for the readers. You'll have a say in what I'm writing as well as access to the chapters earlier. It's always an honor for me when people ask if they can preread.
3. Chat with me! I'm on skype a lot. I don't bite. PM me if you want my address. Simply chatting about the stories helps motivate me and makes me feel a little better self-esteem wise.
4. Are you an artist? I ADORE fan art. Nothing motivates me like getting some fan art for one of my stories or a character of mine. It makes my whole day, motivating me to write more.
5. Ask me for advice on your own stories. I love helping folks, especially when it comes to writing. I've got lots and lots of experience, so why not tap into some of that? It helps me as much as it helps you.
6. Share some of my stories with your friends. Get them to comment/review and pass it on. The more interest I have in the story, the more motivated I am to actually finish it.
7. Just say hi every once and a while. It cheers me up a lot.
Thanks!

Well I for one certainly want to see you keep writing. You have a talent for literature and I wouldn't want to see that go to the wayside.
that i can relate to, but for me that has seem to be gone (thank the moon for that otherwise i couldn't stay at my school). sharing some of your wisdom and writing experience with your followers and people who ask for your magic. right now i'm also currently writing a story myself, its going at a fair pace, hopefully i could complete the first chapter and upload it here on fimfic, that i would consider a victory. I do have skype as well and i like to keep interesting people there.
I want to see more stuff from you. I enjoy reading your stories.
I just noticed that you started the sequel to An Honest Life! I'm looking forward to that for sure! Cogitation really shows a lot of promise too. Even if it ends up being only 3-4 chapters long, I'd like to see where that one goes. Of course I can't get enough of the backstory of Discord, of back in the land where there was more than one draconequus running around! I'd enjoy reading all of those, I'm sure.
Artist block is dumb too.
Anyways I'm glad your in better health and motivated again.
I'm glad you're feeling healthier, and hopefully less depressed and stressed overall.
Preachin' to the choir, there.
It took me months to get my 1.5 chapter oneshot out, and now I'm hemming and hawwing about the "epilogue" because I promised some explanations to my readers that I didn't want to fit into the story proper, and I'm trying to figure out how to best do it.
Anyway I sure will leave more comments, and I had offered however long ago to preread for Disillusion and preread... a little, before you went for rewrites. The offer's still on the table, although I get the impression you're good for Disillusion, I don't know which of the other stories you're working on at the moment.
Hi!
Maybe we could do another reading trade sometime? But this would probably be in... several months. I've got something coming up in June that's going to take most of the wind out of my FimFic sails for a while. I'll tell ya more over Skype sometime.
Well... I HAVE wanted to try my hand at prereading for a while now. If you'd be okay with it, I'd love to have a go at it!
That would be in a couple weeks, though. School's still got me firmly pinned down, and I don't think it's gonna let up anytime soon.
3961985 Awesome! Well, you let me know when you are a Free Elf and I shall send you a little something for pre-reading.
