Given how fast the new chapters for "Widget" are coming out, I figure now is the time to think about what I'm gonna do next. I'm putting down a few of my ideas here.
Aurum: A sort of sequel to the series. Told from the point of view of Aurum, an old friend of Widget's father. His special talent is alchemy, changing one thing into another by rearranging the item's structure at the microscopic scale. Because this talent is not well understood by society, he is looked down upon. He seeks to further the understanding of the more scientific side of magic; the concept that magic involves the manipulation of tiny particles too small to see, that make up everything around us. That's right folks, atomic theory!
The Red String of Fate: The story of the how Widget's parents met.
My Little Peachblossom: Peachblossom, the character from the "Protector of the Small" book series by Tamora Pierce ends up in Equestria. Peachblossom is best horse.
I also have this weird desire to write a crossover with Fruits Basket (yes, I know it's a bad idea).
Other possible crossovers: Negima!? and the Wallflower.
