Late Spring, Early Summer Announcement · 9:37pm May 12th, 2016
Hello loyal (or loyalish) readers, fans, etc,
As the title says, I have something to announce but let me first get some probable questions you have taken care of:
1. No, I haven't given up on the story.
2. I have not left the MLP fandom.
3. Yes, I'm slightly an idiot.
Now, that those mad-lib answers have been...answered...Lets get to the meat of this blog post. During January-ish I have formally sworn into the U.S. Army (which terrifies me a bit because of the presidential candidates). Because of school however, I was not shipping out till the end of the semester which happened to end last week. In summary, I am shipping out to Basic Training on May 16, four days from now. This means two things as far as I can tell, the first being that I will pretty much be going through a (probably) hellish training regime for months, the second thing is that because of this training, I will not have my computer, cellphone, etc. and thus will have no way to continue my story until later this year. The best I'll be able to do would be (gasp) physical writing in a notebook.
Now, the second news that I'm giving you is that I haven't fully completed those "two" chapters I have consistently mentioned will conclude the Chrysalis Arc. I quote "two" because I have split up those two giant chapters into smaller chapters so that story-flow didn't suffer. That being said, I am posting this to promise you two things, the first is that I am going to post the chapters I DO have before I leave, whether they have been fully edited or not. The second promise is that once I am done with training, have internet, and am pretty much able to continue my stuff, I will post it here on Fimfiction and do my best to continue where I left off.

P.S. You think the army announcement took YOU by surprise, you should have seen the looks and the amount of messages I got from MY family. The closest reaction I can think of (and find on the internet) would be this picture here:

Well, good luck. I await the day you can return to this story because it's the one good Fire Emblem crossover story I've seen on this site.

As for why I enlisted, I was in a point of my life where things were monotonous, and that I couldn't see what I wanted for myself in the future. Then an army recruiter called asked if I was interested, I was kinda meh about being interested, but I was interested in talking about it and finding out more. After listening, I believed that maybe if I did join, I could better myself, experience new things, and get paid for it. The rest is history.
Thanks for the heads up, I wish you luck in basic and don't worry about us over here at fimfiction. We'll still be the supportive quadrupedal enthusiasts you know when you get back from training.
