Extra Story Likes, Happy Story News & Updates · 3:41pm May 1st, 2016
Okay, weird thing. Yesterday I noticed I have one or two more likes on all my stories that weren't there before and no indication in notifications of who gave them. I'm guessing they were from past days and probably weren't logged before now. It's nice to see them, I just wish I knew who they were from. Has this happened to anypony else?
Mad stupid happy that my favorite Sombra clop author Topside has resurfaced with not one but TWO more chapters for A Shadow in the Night and is back on track writing again. She even hit the featured box for a time at 11:00 p.m. Saturday night! Congrats, hon, and hope you can crank out more chapters and get back to your regular schedule. Check her out, my Sombraphile brethren. It is a GOOD story so far with actual story in it, not just the gratuitous clop we all know and crave =D
I've caught up with giving each ongoing story at least one if not two updates in April. If you missed any, here they are again:
1. The Mad Seeress of the North - updated 17th Apr 2016 with Chapter 7 - Illusion's Reality. The chapter before that, Mirror Lake, was uploaded April 8th.
2. Sombra of the Sith - updated 25th Apr 2016 with Chapter 3 - Preparations and the Great West.
3. The King's Mice - updated 30th Apr 2016 with Chapter 2 - Now the Worse News. This one timed out in a very peculiar way by accident. I posted the first part April 1st and the second part the last day of April. Not sure how that happened.
4. Frozen Shadows - updated 19th Apr 2016 with Chapter 5 - Past Abduction.
I'm doing a silly thing now where I'm logging my time spent writing and word counts in a gdocs spreadsheet, just to make sure I write every week as much as possible. If you're a nerd and want to see how prolific I've been (and be teased by some titles for projects no one has seen yet) here's the link.
My next project? My Mother's Day story entitled, "Troubled Crystal Heart". King Sombra, fearing he's losing the edge to his hardened heart and how that might cause his grip to weaken on the Crystal Empire, goes to the one creature for advice he never wanted to speak to again - his mother.
