I am exhausted.
I know it isn't May, yet, but it's close enough that I can give an update. Great news off the bat, Chapter 2 for ER251 has been handed off to Autumnschild for review and editing. I am not sure when it will be done, he did say he had some time today to look at it. He is busy with life and work so it will be something he will get to when he gets a chance. Chapter 3 and 4 are also completed as well. We'll just slowly filter them through Autumnschild, he'll purge the mistakes out of them, and we'll get going again.
Chapter 2 took a lot longer than I had hoped. I am so sorry to everyone about that and thank you for your patience with me. It just... wasn't sounding right to me, not working the way I wanted it to. I would end up writing pages that was just stuff to explain what had happened in ER250, and it wasn't necessary but it was important to understand the events of the chapter. So it was eventually scrapped and I worked on five different version of chapter 2. Autumnschild has version 3 which, while I am not completely satisfied with it, but I am happy with it out of the five. I don't know if I will immediately update it when I get the chapter back, or just keep it back until I have three and four done as well so I can do a weekly or biweekly update thing. Let me know what you guys think.
Story wise, still, I have a few non-Birthdayverse stories that I want to start writing this weekend. Keep an eye out, maybe I'll surprise everyone with a new story. Most of them are multi-chapter epics, one that has been on my mind was a RarityxLuna ship. It is a slow build romance story. I've actually got a few RarityxLuna stories. I need to research romance stories some more. Applejack AU story is a fun one, if you've read Re:Harmony, it is similar in theme. My Trixie Adventure story will be AU now, with (today's?) episode of Trixie and Starlight becoming friends. I've heard season 6 is good so far, but I have yet to have time to watch it. And then there is this really interesting, but I have no idea where it is going to go one, about a grown up Flurry Hearts.
That's what I'm looking at. I think I am caught up on my editing jobs. If I am editing for you and I have not touched your story in a while and I'm suppose to be editing a new chapter, please let me know.
Life wise, I got my dream job. I am now a cardiac nurse, and I have been training for the last month and a half. I absolutely love it, the time frame is killing me right now though, but the monies. Lots of stuff to do to get oriented to everything, and working at the same time. My weekend is free, but on Monday, Tuesday, and Wedensday, I start night shifts. yay. I work 12 hour shifts, and I am in really no mental ability to write or edit when I come home. If I get back at a good time, I'm usually on reading. But the job is a blast, love it.
So that's life. I hope everyone is doing good this glorious Saturday and that life is treating you well.

Given all the hints that direction in the Birthday stories, I'm not really surprised. It's an odd ship, so I look forward to seeing you pull it off.

Thank you. It is an odd ship, not the weirdest I've seen, but still, it's a left field sort of thing. I want to make it feel natural and that it is something that could work. But it still makes me really, really, really nervous to attempt to full blow pitch it out to the masses.
Sorry I've been slow moving on that. Work has been pretty intense lately, but maybe there will be some time tomorrow afternoon/evening?
GL with the cardiac nurse stuff. Don't burn out on the on- calls! And I'll look forward to the Runa / Rarina / Lunarity when it comes
Just checking in on you. Hope the job is going well. Doesn't sound like writing is feasible with such hours but I'll certainly keep hoping for more chapters and stories from you whenever those come around. Congrats on securing your dream job, I'm very happy for you!

Things are going well, thanks for checking in. Writing times get interesting, but I still have days off to work on my stories. I am hoping that Autumnschild will have chapter 2 for ER251 done this month, permitting his work allows it. He's roughly halfway through, and has been super busy with Amazon. So it happens when he can get to it.
I am thinking, as mentioned in the blog, about doing a few other stories. I just don't know which story I should release or commit to fully working on.
