    Okay, wow, Job

Diiiiid not see that one coming.
I mean, I kinda did, but being a pessimist by nature, I kinda didn't if you catch my drift.
So, what does this mean for The Neighcronomicon and the other stories I've thought up but haven't even found the time or energy to get a first chapter down (sob)?

    Current Cycle of Interests

    - Watching 'The Strain' late at night when I'm certain the paranoia will just be, like, the best emotional rush.

    - Playing mindless games on Kongregate despite owning Homefront:The Revolution, Fallout 4 Far Harbor, AND Battleborn.

    - Reading while I'm walking. This is actually sorta a given, but it just amuses me so much that I figured I'd include it too.

    Stupid dislike button...

So, I get a new like, and I get a new dislike, all in the same day. And it's really frustrating, because I'm almost certain that all the dislikes I'm getting happen in the first chapter, when I refer to the grey and blonde pegasus mail-mare as Derpy. I get that some people are offended by the name, but it irks me that people can't just leave a story they dislike; they also feel compelled to

    Bucking Finally!

Finished the 11th chapter of 'The Neighcronomicon'. I am very sorry that it's taken so long for me to pull this chapter together, but I am pleased to say that I have a very good idea how the next four chapters will play out. None of them should be especially long in coming to fruition, but I hope ya'll will accpet that I'm (as usual) terri-bad at the whole "keeping to an update scheduled".

No idea what to name this jawn... oh wait!

So, my short story 'Jawn' is finished and published. If you haven't read it already, I invite you to do so. If you have read it but haven't liked it yet (and you did like it, I'm not going to beg you give me likes that I haven't earned), please go throw it a like. I know it's not quite as Lovecraftian as my other story, but as a Philadelphia native I'm quite proud of it.

I dunno, I try to avoid giving stories down-votes, and I wish other readers could be as restrained.

You should really submit this to some more groups, you know. This story is far too good to just kind of get no attention at all. The Writers Group and Self-Promotion are always a good idea.

Also, I personally never got that. "Ditz" is an real word and an actual insult. I don't think "derp" technically even means anything. Given the choice, I know what I'd go with.

3872107 Thanks for the idea! I did toss it into the Lovecraftian Horror group, so maybe I'll shamelessly self promote in a few other places.

Could also be Pinkie's story on the train. I thought it was hilarious, but I can see how it would further traumatize the Cupcakes survivors.

3876036 Huh, didn't think of that. I was just trying to build a set up so Pinkie could light a shoggoth on fire. Is that really too much to ask? :pinkiehappy:

Like I said, I loved that part and hope for more Pinkamena, but it is not to everyone's taste. For that matter, people may not like the Cthulhu mythos or your interpretation of the Prince's transformation or even Fluttershy's masochistic tendencies. If you try to please everyone, you will go crazy more surely than if you tried to beat Cthulhu in a staring contest and still have downvotes to show for it. Just be yourself and lunatics like me will gladly praise you.

3877160 Aww thanks boss :raritywink:
