    A Lost Sunset

    Hello everypony,

If you've seen recent blog posts, you know I've been cancelling my stories. I've lost interest in writing and...well, I honestly haven't been able to come up with ideas for my stories. This includes A Lost Sunset, as I had no idea where to go with it, and still don't.

    Some News

    Hi everypony,

I come today to say...well, I'm cancelling my stories. I'm going to cancel the smaller ones first, as I honestly don't remember where I was going to go with those stories. These stories being the Twilight and Moondancer Investigations, Crystal Queen of Sunsets and The Funny Little Guy.

Problems... · 1:58am Apr 15th, 2016

Hi everypony,

I'm here to say...I've been really in a bind lately. All sorts of garbage has been happening to me and...yeah. I'm still trying to get some chapters done but...it's been super hard. I severely apologize and I hope you all can be patient till I can get something going.

I'm doing a second post of this for The Rainboom Thieves. As for it's next chapter, I'm still having a problem doing Starlight's dialogue...but I hope to get things going soon.

Here's a small preview of the chapter:

“Her...cutie mark?!” Sunset gasped. “How did...what?!”

“Trixie agrees. What is this?! How is a pony's cutie mark in a bottle?!” Trixie barked, venomous spit flying out of her mouth.

Starlight waved her palm, “Calm down. This bottle is merely the representation of what we offer in our town.”

“Represents...what you offer?” Sunset asked, her face filled with confusion. She glanced at Trixie, who was showing a mix of confusion and anger. “I don't understand.”

“I had a feeling you would say that.” Starlight said as she sat back down. “If you don't mind, would you like me to explain how this is possible?”

“I...” Sunset stuttered, her eyes switching between Trixie and Starlight. Trixie just sat there, her face showing more and more anger. Her mind raced as she watched the situation more and more. 'This isn't good. Trixie is obviously not buying whatever this is and...what is this place?!' Sunset took a deep breath. “Okay, I guess we would like to know.”

“Good.” Starlight shined a devilish smile. The duo felt a chill down their spines as they watched her begin her explanation. “Our town promotes a very...special viewpoint. As I said before, all ponies here are equal, including myself. Because of this, a certain...process is needed to equalize a pony.”

“And that concerns taking a cutie mark?”

“Not exactly. The ponies here have all chosen to be equal. The taking of the cutie mark is a part of the process.”

'Taking a cutie mark but...they chose to be equal? I don't understand.' thought Sunset as she glanced back at Trixie. Her eyes widened as she watched Trixie's expression change. 'I know that look, that's the look when Trixie's trying to see if somepony's telling the truth or not...something's wrong here. Did Starlight just lie to us? I mean...its obvious we shouldn't exactly trust her. Especially after we had that tour through this absolutely creepy town but...'

“Now, you probably wondering about how the process works.” Starlight continued, her smile shining with confidence. “First off, it is a simple yet sacred ritual in our town. The very act opens your mind to unbelievable possibilities within equality. The very mindscape equality gives you is...incredible.”

“Trixie still thinks this sounds like a bunch of pony dung.”

Dude, don't push yourself, just stop writing, take care of your problems, have a rest afterwards.
Go on a hiatus, if your readers are mature, they'll understand, and then you can come back to us, better than ever.

You're doing just fine. Seriously, no pressure.

3871324 My problems are...long and painful and annoying and...everything. I can't really get rid of them. I don't want to go on a full hiatus, I really enjoy writing my ideas. (Even if users bash my stories)

3871341 I'm not sure if you're being nice or sarcastic. Thanks anyways.

3871346 You see this is the problem with text! You can't put sentiment into your words so sincere words get confused with sarcasm! :twilightangry2:

Sorry. Just a little rant. Anyway, I was being serious. Don't rush it. It always makes a good chapter turn bad. You really are doing great! Just relax, you'll do great! :pinkiehappy:

3871342 If you can't remove them, at least try to make them less problematic, at least for a short time.
'A short term solution is the first step to a long term one' said by... someone.
If users are bashing your stories without actual arguments, they are, I believe the technical term is: twits.

3871540 Yeah...its when people upvote their comments that make me feel really angry/depressed.

3872009 Either they too are fools, or just upvote comments without thinking.
If the good comments outweigh the bad, you're doing something right, and if it's more bad than good, seeing as this is the internet, you're probably doing something else right.

3872533 Heh...true. Thanks...:pinkiesad2:

I know that some times things go out of control, so take your time, no rush.
Hope things get better.

Loved Trixie being her usual 'subtle' self too. :derpytongue2:

3872819 You're more than welcome.
