    Still On Hiatus

Yeah, what I wrote last time still stands. So stop asking me when I'll be back on, everyone. I'll tell you when I'll be back.

    Hiatus

I’m going on hiatus because I have some personal business to take care of. I’ll make a big announcement when I’m back. Until then, you can message me but don’t expect an immediate response.

Song of the Day: August 31 (Gary Clark Jr.)

Song of the Day: “Ain’t Messin’ Round” by Gary Clark Jr.

Thus we have come to my final Song of the Day! It has been a lot of fun taking you guys through my widely varied and eclectic musical tastes this month. I might continue posting songs once in a while, but it won’t be daily. Have a good one!

So apparently this is a thing now. · 12:24am Apr 7th, 2016

Sure is nice to see the Teen Titans in something serious again!

Can’t say I’m a huge fan of the new designs though... I prefer them more stylized, like in the original Titans show. And who the hell is that blue guy?

Eh, still better than this:

Seriously, anything is better than that shit.

The blue guy is the Blue Beetle. He's appeared in a few other DC cartoons, especially in Young Justice.

Why does everyone hate go?

3852929 Ah, thanks. I haven't seen YJ so I wouldn't know but this answers my question.

3852936 Can't speak for everybody, but I find Go! incredibly mean-spirited, don't think its humor is very funny, find the animation to be a tacky eyesore to look at, and think that the characters have become unlikable. The only good thing about it imo is the voice actors, who still do a great job in the roles and have good chemistry, but somehow that makes it worse because they're playing the roles for this schlock instead of for another season of the original show.

But again, that's just me. If you like it, good on ya. I won't judge.

You DID see them in something serious....

Why does no one appreciate this amazing show!!!!:raritycry:

3852970 I still haven't been able to bring myself to watch it (I've been too busy rewatching Teen Titans). It's definitely on my list though, as it's created by Greg Weisman, who also created Gargoyles, which... well, I wrote a crossover between Gargoyles and MLP, so that should tell you something. :twilightsheepish:

[Exit, pursued by a bear]

3852976 Be warned. They were expecing a third season they didn't get. So the final shot is nothing short of INFURIATING.:twilightangry2:

That movie was disappointing honestly. There was hardly any fights between the two groups.

3853020 I don't really get [insert hero here] vs. [insert hero here] movies anyway. They're both on the same side, why are they fighting?

But I will withhold judgment on this movie until I actually see it.

[Exit, pursued by a bear]

The blue guy is Blue Beetle I think

3853110 I know, 3852929 told me. :derpytongue2:

[Exit, pursued by a bear]

3853034 Well, in the case of storylines like this, there's really no choice. I've never seen the movie, but if I'm to understand it, the Justice League has been possessed by aliens/demons/some bad thing, and the Titans have to stop them. That's the partial plot of the whole "Agememno" thing (leading to Batman's need to the Agememno Contingency). In things like the "Civil War" storyline in Marvel, the government cracks down on super beings; some are for it, others are against it. It's either highly divisive issues or mind control.

And yes, I agree with 3852970. "Young Justice" was an incredible show. Please, watch it as soon as you're able. Both seasons are on Netflix, and they are even talking about giving it a Netflix-specific third season! :pinkiehappy:

(BTW, the blue dude is Jaime Reyes, the third Blue Beetle (after Dan Garret and Ted Kord). The suit gives him strength, flight, and a bunch of cool weapons. He's a pretty big character in the 2nd season of "Young Justice". Good stuff!)

At least in this DC "vs" movie the fighting didn't just stop because their mothers had the same name

3853778 Whoa, spoilers dude!
It's okay, I'm not planning on seeing that movie anyway.

3853527 I understand. And yeah, Young Justice is on my list of stuff to check out.

[Exit, pursued by a bear]

I can't say I'm a fan of Cyborg's design.:unsuresweetie:

3856081 more like a kinda sorta spoiler from what I'm hearing from people who have seen it have said the whole movie was spoiled in the trailer before it's release.(I haven't seen it and am never planning too ever since man of steel offended me to my core.) Though I suppose your right I did kinda spoil a bit of the movie unwittingly I guess I gotta work on my neticate a bit
