A couple of days ago I finally finished up my watch of all five season of My Little Pony. Obviously did not get it done in the week before season six started but I still powered through it. I also was noting down interesting bits of canon. Was kind of fun to see what all popped up when I was paying attention (for the most part) to details stuff. I'm sure most of it has already been covered by the (I assume still there) YouTube analysis pony people. Still, getting a nice broad view of things was entertaining.
Possible spoilers under the break if you haven't watched most of the first five seasons of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.
Two items of note before I link to the lists. First off, regarding the Crystal Ponies and not being shiny in the season 6 starter episodes? Watching the previous Crystal Empire episodes leads me to think that the sparkle state is them displaying their magic. They go briefly sparkle when going from depressed/grey to bright and happy, as if using their emotion-based magic to throw off the lingering effects of Sombra's control. They also go sparkly when they are powering up the Crystal Heart for the first time. Which they don't do when doing the powering up the crystal for the Crystaling in Season 6, but meh. Continuity is something the fandom brings to the show and not the other way around. Oh, and in previous shots of the Crystal Empire during the Equestria Games episodes had shown both sparkly and non-sparkly ponies in the backgrounds.
The second item of note is about Starlight Glimmer and the season five finale. Just a note, but that's not the first time we see a Unicorn levitating themselves. Heck, Twilight has done it once or twice during the show. So even though Starlight Glimmer does it a lot it shouldn't be seen as evidence of some great power on her part.
Anyway, below is the five lists (one for each season) I wrote up while watching the show. Not complete but I suspect I got at least 95% or so.

Seriously, I tend to leave MLP on even when Trixie isn't really watching it, just because it's easier than turning it off and back on, so I go through, oh, about a season every two days.
