After "No Regrets": What's next

I have to say I'm blown away by the reception No Regrets has been getting. About 36 hours after being featured on Equestria Daily, it's up to 76 upvotes -- and 71 favorites. At one point it had more favs than ups. Apparently, the folks who like it really like it.

It's also prompted a lot of discussion about what happened in the story. (I won't spoil it here, but if you finish No Regrets and are confused, read on to its comments.) This has gotten me thinking. As part of my effort to slash it down to the EFNW conbook's size requirements, I cut most of the correspondence from Twilight Sparkle that would have clarified the story's central mystery. Though all the clues are still there -- the letters are not strictly necessary to the story -- it should be interesting to come back and see the tale from a wildly different perspective. So: I'll be posting Twilight's scrolls as a bonus chapter as soon as I can get them expanded and edited.

Beyond that, I'm currently working on some epilogue material for my MLP forum game. (There's some quality writing there, too: check out, for example, the "Elsewhere in Equestria" thread, in which we learn how Daylight Savings Time nearly restarted the Celestial War.)

Coming up here at FiMFic: A long-form crack crossover fic about Equestria's past, codenamed "Neighlander: Origins"; an eccentric subversion of the second-person clop genre; and some actual fiddling around with time.

... not all at once.

Although that might be fun too.
