What's been the most challenging, is finding just the right sexual attitude for any character. For Wrestling A Rainbow, I portray Rainbow Dash has having a very aggressive sexual taste, where she enjoys being sought after, as well as making someone work for it. She enjoys the thrill of competition, in and outside the bedroom. You see her turn the fling between her and Nikky Fabulous into a subtle game of who can get the other off first. I like to include multiple settings, like starting in the gym, and moving it to the shower, with plenty of positions that don't necessarily have to be penetration.
I also like to have backstory. I'd prefer my reader get a bit involved in the world and forget they're reading a story. Writing clop can be challenging because you need to have constant activity and details that allow the reader to actually feel what the characters feel, regardless of their gender.
My stories also have the goal of being appealing to both genders. I try to get the female perspective on it as well, but that can be difficult at times given the point of view. I try to help the reader feel the empathy, and the attraction that both characters have with eachother.
It gets challenging because you have to include both the sexual activities, as well as the feelings of pleasure, in as few words as possible. The specifics of the location are irrelevant, and you only need just enough for the reader to grasp where they are. So you can't use the normal descriptions you'd use in a normal story, because your reader doesn't give a damn, they wanna read SEX, not story. However if you rush it, it breaks the mood, and the fun is diminished.
Wrestling A Rainbow
This is currently my most popular, exploding WAY past King of the Dead in less than 24 hours.
The main character, for no real reason, is friends with the mane 6, and acts as kind of their gradual boytoy. This is the first in a series I plan to continue whenever the mood strikes. Each clop story leads into the next, having a new character do the nasty with Nikky Fabulous. I don't plan to even remotely stick to the mane 6, but no spoilers. Each character gets their own story, with possible new chapters being added in if I feel like continuing where they left off at that point in time. Don't think too hard about all of it, just enjoy the show.
Nikky Fabulous is your above-average highschooler in almost every department. You're not necessarily suppose to give too much of a damn about Nikky as a character, as his main purpose is to be the main male sex protagonist, but I HATE blank characters. Nikky can sometimes become intimidated with finding out if he's legitimately being hit on or not. The fear of taking something the wrong way and being labeled a pervert is always on his mind. The moment it becomes obvious however, he snaps out of his shell, and lets out his inner sex maniac. He's smart, clever, smooth, an athlete, a classy act, a dirty boy, his personality changes with whoever brings whatever side out of him. He loves women, but he's not a pig. He's respectful, yet sensual. Brave, yet methodical. Witty, yet humble. He's attractive, yet non-judgmental.
As I've said previously, each character has their own sexual personality, and not everyone just spread their legs at the drop of a hat. I want it to be realistic, but with no hints at all from the actual show, you gotta use your imagination a bit, or just give me the benefit of the doubt. Each characters sexual interests are deeply intertwined wit their personality. For instance it would be absurd to think Fluttershy or Rarity would just jump into bed with Nikki. But given the right circumstances, sexual tension, and a little shove from our man Nikky, you'd be surprised who each girl is under all that hair. I mean...they're gorgeous teenagers in their sexual prime, give me a damn break people.
Each story has it's own storyline, that can be straight-forward, or take an unexpected turn, as I try to nail everyone's fantasies in as few goes as possible. Sometimes the thrill of doing something your not allowed to is riveting. Months of built up sexual tension finally being released in a single glorious evening is something we've all been through. Being a shy, sensitive thing, then being saved by superman who has just the right words to comfort you into letting out your inner sex demon can also be provocative. Or just getting down and nasty with one or two gorgeous ladies can always be a fun dream. Whatever your taste is, I'll do my best to go all over the place without driving up the wall with the weirdmobile.
