Sorry for the lack of display or commenting, but had finally got some work done of the previous old chapters since I had promised to update or fix some of those chapters a while back.

Will mark the new updated chapters.

New cover, New chapter, New chapter cleaning

Equestrian Landing has it's next chapter and a new cover art thanks to Mix-up.

Some of the older chapters of Equestrian Landing are in the process of being 'cleaned' to help fix some of the old spelling errors, mistakes, and so forth.

    Equestrian Landing direction

While PC down checking direction for Equestrian Landing.

Should I stay with design or start to switch or gear towards a more slice of life format like some of the previous chapters?

May not be able to respond as checking for new system but will try to respond to blog questions and or statements.

I don't know which direction you should go for your story, but I am really liking it. Can't wait to see what's next!

I think it would be good to have some slice of life thrown in between all the action. stories tend to feel like the move to fast if you focus on the action. you seem to be going for a sword art style telling, and i have to say that the only real problem i had with sword art if because the condensed it down so much, they cut a lot of what could have been good backstory and world/character building to cut straight into the action and drama as fast as possible.

I agree with ScootalooFTW, alternating between from action to slice of life from one another. I always like your take on the adjustments that the payers do during their stay in Equestria, good or bad, it would be great to see how others payers view things on their ends without directly have anything to do with the main plot. Your actions scenes are also good, you certainly like to try to breach away from the typical cliché of adventure stories that we are normally used to.

Stay the course!
You are pulling a masterful Babylon 5!
You have slice of life every episode yet the plot continues to foreshadow continuity and continue to build in the background!

I'd just ask for any things that can or should not be done if someone wanted to write a spin off?

Also the end chapter questions... think you could keep those as some of them gave rather interesting questions and responses.

As for pacing? Better than Sword Art Online, but you might want to give Log Horizon season 2 a check, but only subs are for it. Still a good watch.

First of all you are the author.
Don't ask others how to write YOUR story!
That ends rarely well. Though asking questions for some inspiration to fill out some details is a good thing.

Overall I agree with mastermenthe.
Writing a slice of life with a little bit adventure and drama, that always comes with a few plot pieces, that are put on backburnner until everything falls into place and you ask yourself "How didn't I see that coming?", is a very good writing style.

In an early season of Babylon 5 for example a character learns that a certain spieces/people does NEVER lie unless it is for protecting life and honor of a friend. And more than 20 episodes later suddenly this random trivial knowlegde becomes a major key point in a plot of an episode, as without it the character wouldn't have understood what is going on.

As far as I have seen, characters are actually a stronger point of your writing. However if you are looking for some inspiration, then look up G'kar from Babylon 5. His character is rather deep and conflicted. He starts out as a vengeful mix of Cardassian and Klingon - his people suffer under the Centauri basically like many Russian did under the Nazis - and becomes basically a selfless and wise protector towards the end.
The turnheel event is especially well expressed in his epiphany scene, though I like the German version more than the English one.

Babylon 5 also had some very elaborate jokes.

In one episode there is a festival where each species displays their traditions and religions, though the humans have a slight problem with that as they don't know what excatly they should show. Therefore they simply assemble at the end of the episode a delegation consisting out of countless people who all follow different religions. ( youtube: introduction of various earth religions to aliens babylon 5)

In another episode an alien species is introduced who condemns every kind of wellfare as disaterous for society and civilisation in general. They in turn are introduced to an approximation of US-American capitalism and think it is ingenious in how it creates a poor and desperate underclass which is willing to do basically everything for even minor payment. And everyone of the humans' attempts at showing they value wellfare backfires as the aliens see it just as another measure to maintain a submissive and stable underclass. At the end the aliens even want to copy some of the humans ideas because they so brutally enforce social darwinism. Rather hillarious considering the humans wanted to present their society as far from perfect but still very generous and caring.

Thanks for the responses as I am currently trying to fix and get the Laptop problem fixed

As for you 3821872

If you want to write a spin off go right ahead. The only thing I would advise is to stay away from Alicorn territory for the most part. Other than that your fine.

As for the end chapter questions... that may continue or I may not leave a question depending on the chapter.
