New home, new outlook. · 1:31am Mar 21st, 2016
I'm finally moved into my new home. It's been almost a year since we started trying to sell our old place and the hassles of everything that comes with moving really put a downer on my will to make videos. But with a new house I've decided it's time for a new outlook and a new start to my channel.
I have a new plan to keep me motivated and working to get videos out, I have a calendar and every day I am going to put a nice big tick or something to say "I got something done for the channel today!" be that recording, editing, finding music, getting VA's or just practicing voices. Every day I have to do something that will help get more videos out or improve the channel in some way. I have already started, I have one fic recorded for editing, another edited waiting for music and a large whiteboard I will be setting out with schedules for reading and most importantly deadlines for getting them done!
I also want to start making these blog posts as regularly as I can from now on, at least once a month or as often as something interesting happens. These might be things happening on the channel or in my life, I want to keep updates on fics I'm working on and ones I've read that I want to work on or at least tell people about. I have a few ideas of things to talk about and to start with I want to set a few challenges to myself to be completed by the end of the following month:
1. Sound proof recording den (something like this)
2. Chapter 4 of Friendship is Grievous uploaded.
3. Start recording for Alabastards
4. Record, edit and upload Blank book
5. At least an hour of voice practice a day.
6. Find a job :s
7. Get at least one more follower on here (I have 8 now)
The end of April is about 6 weeks away so I hope that is a reasonable amount of time to get these things done.
