A year.
I have waited exactly, if not more than, one year for these games to come out. And now I finally have them! I am literally the happiest man on the planet right now. I know I wasn't the one anticipating them the most, but that person probably got the special edition, so I was the one who was boned. But now I finally have both games! And so what are my thoughts on them?
Well, to put it lightly...
HOLY FUCKING SHIT, THIS GAME IS SO GOOD!! I've only played a bit of Birthright, but HOLY FUCK EVERYTHING IS BETTER THAN AWAKENING IN EVERY SINGLE POSSIBLE WAY!! ENEMIES CAN PAIR UP NOW, NORMAL MODE IS STILL DIFFICULT, AND THE STORY ISN'T THE SAME SHIT WE'VE SEEN OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN!! AAHHHHHHHHHH!!! IT'S SO FUCKING GOOD!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!
...ahem. Apologies; I just really like this game. Looking forward to March 10th when Revelations comes out for those who didn't buy the special edition (aka, normal people)!

You aren't the only one. I had been waiting on this game(s) since back when it was assumed to be a single game. I couldn't get the special edition but the game stop bundle is good enough for me. Even in casual or phoenix mode the game is challenging and the dual stories are making for a great experience. In other news despite the monster name changes I'm looking forward to Monster Hunter Xross (Generations) and I plan on getting it.
